  • I'm already registered and can download the problem though is that I want a spell caster and that model is pretty unarmed, not to mention it has a huge file-size and I don't want to use one wow rip since that will set a standard and force to make everything into wow rips. But thanks for the suggestion.

    Small note, you are now map moderator, you have authority. If map suck burn it. Give 2-3 ratings to approval-able maps and rate 4 or 5 only those you will personally play more than few times (or to those with unique content worth checking etc). It's not about personal taste anymore, it's about standard we need to fallow.

    Did you know that "Rejected Until Updated" is what I would like people to use if something is not good enough for approval, but still good enough for the author to fix it?

    magtheridon is 16 or 17 I think. But I am almost sure you are the youngest indeed. Quite fun, I was promoted to mod for the first time when I was 14 too. (magical age?)
    ah, great to hear. Afterall there was quite some disappointment when you decided to re-create stuff. Hopefully you remain active, many mods are lazy (or they arent as as young as us :p)

    well it's going forward. One of my maps is almost finished and my campaign is making decent progress aswell, thanks for asking. How about you?
    Don't worry, it will be surely better. I inserted custom music, scenes inside buildings and above their roofs. I also put a lot of things from UTM to let the terrain be as awesome as possible. I believe it will be the best cinematic I'll make!

    Well that would be really fantastic if I could improve more things.
    So great that you've become a moderator! Not only you are approving many maps that have been pending for weeks, but I know that when I'll post my next map, you'll review it immediately and will not remain pending for ages! :D
    There is no need for a disbute about this, but fact is:

    I know what bowser said to me, and there was no need to implement it because I already used this effective methode even in my contest entry but with "custom scripts", not in JASS.

    Now it's the same methode but written all in JASS.

    Maybe it still can be bit improved for sure, like almost every code, but has nothing todo with bowser's suggestion.

    I know it's not 100% smooth as it is in non-wc3 games with arrow keys, but thats also a problem of the engine itself, so I recommend to play it with a delay reducer tool, to keep it a minimum.
    But your comment was not very nice and matching... because you didnt check it I think :s

    For my own insight, Good job, I have played this map though the movement system is not that smooth and as what bowser499 suggested to you, it would be better if you would use JASS for the movement system to be much smoother and better.

    1st He suggested me two things:
    - to use SetUnitX/Y instead of MoveUnitInstantly, but I already used it, he just didnt know that..
    - to use 0.3125 instead of 0.01 trigger fire, but that would not be fitting good to the system, so I didnt change it (would not work better with it)

    2nd
    The movement systems are written in JASS in v1.1. They only were not in v1.0
    eh, just noticed you are new Map moderator, congratulations :D maybe there will be more maps approved now
    Thanks for the support, but I don't think I'd be a very good moderator. I haven't contributed anything to the Hive (all the current moderators have resources on the Hive), I'm really bad with responsibilities, and I'm also very bad at making important decisions. I'm not very active around the forums and all the moderators (except Tarrasque) are regular posters.
