There are always ways to spice up a tutorial visually, even if it seems out of place. I'll give a thorough review and I'll let you know. Usually your tutorial is one I'd link back as feedback for the posts in map development. You won't be breaking the rules, it is perfectly fine to link your own tutorial. It may seem a little like advertisement, but if it makes sense for the sake of the topic, it is fine.
