I've heard about the new Thief game but I'm so far not impressed. It sounds like something totally different they've just slapped the "Thief" name on for brand recognition. Dishonored at least had the balls to start a new mythos, even though it might be a little bit wobbly. I've never played Thief 1, so maybe its mythos started off just as wobbly.

SC2C.org... Well, you must see how... quiet... WC3C is these days. The old saying is "you can't kill the undead", but at least WC3C took a good few years before it go that way. SC2C was born undead -- SC2 modding just never took off (and let's not get us started on the reasons for that, we could go on for hours). If SC2C was affected by the HD failures, I doubt anybody would have made any special effort to restore it.
