    Nah, Ill send you a screeny once I've rested. UV mapping points are a strain >.<

    :D it can it can. Just to say, I've used your snow cobble stone from your cinematic both as a tile and as part of a texture atlas. My first real UV job with vertex modify >.<. I still have a bug or two bu t I don't care. I'd rather go with it rather than try to fix it and fuck up the whole retexture.

    Toby-san, if I ever meet you irl. First thing I'll do is give you a hug, a high five and buy you a beer. If you have skype, I can show you why :3
    Lol. Don't worry, I'm like that too when I'm deprived of my precious sleeping time. I think that's pretty normal....I guess.
    You can use object editor items only but it'll be really hard to win the contest that way.

    And well, My first contest here was the Hero Contest #6 and I've participated in the Farming Mapping contest too but I'm still not very good in triggers. I just try whenever I can even though I almost always fail. I like terraining too, and I guess you can say that my specialty is in playable terrains. :)

    :D. I know what you mean when you say "messy" - I got models and textures in my Work D folder, in my BLP lab folder, in my Games Folder and in my Wc3 Models folder and it's subfolders :D. Btw, I LOVE LOVE LOVE the snowy rocks, the texture is exactly what I've been searching for for a year now :D. I even wrapped it on a model from xgm, i hope you don't mind, it just looks so epic.

    Remember how I couldn't open your cinematic? Turns out my NewGen editor is only half-operational so I asked a friend to open it and remove the triggers. Got them rocks <3
    lol I've logged in because of your friend request email notification.

    and thanks, it's been a pleasure coming from one of epic terrainer artist.

    Hey, no wrong in that. As someone's has once said - "Great things take time but truly amazing things happen on the fly". Probably one of the more interesting quotes, at least to me.
    D
    Aye, no problem. Can I ask you a favor, upload something medieval :D?
    D
    I downloaded Insomnia state before you added farmland and I'm pretty sure it works since I opened it in WE and had no issues.

    EDIT: Downloading atm but I still don't see the three download boxes. I only see one red one in the middle of the page and the box you mentioned under it. Download is slow as hell btw, and my i-net is pretty good.

    EDIT 2: Farmland is ok and ready for shipping ^^.
    Ohai. Mostly doing undergrad classes so I can get started on my bachelor next year, and ridiculous amounts of drinking to cope with it. D:

    How are your projects?
    Hi man! I've read your post that you're about to leave the modding community. I just dropped by to say thanks and good luck. I do hope you still drop by from time to time.
    So, I made this little test map to see the filter unit in action: http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/pastebin_data/hv5410/_files/Fade%20Filter%20Unit.w3x
    Press ESC in game to see it work.

    In the testmap you can find the CineCam library, fade filter unit in object editor and the filter model in import manager which you need to copy to your map (although you can import some other model for filter).
    The test map has a Test trigger with the actions needed to use the filter. I have added comments in it to clarify its usage. If you're more comfortable with GUI, you can use custom scripts for the actions.
    The test trigger uses the basic functions you'll need. If you need other functions, check the CineCam library.

    EDIT: I forgot to mention; if you want to disable the fade filter unit, you'll probably have to set its alpha to 0 with triggers.
    I'll examine that Cinema Workshop more closely at weekend because I'm kinda busy atm. I'll explain to you which functions you need and how to use them.
    Without all other libraries? But it requires only 2 libraries. It seems easy to use, what's the problem?
    Because I'm a lazy bitch. xD

    But srsly, I have job and now high school on head too. xC My shading techniqie? I made It's mix of 2 textures (Normal) and Dark (Shaded) (Using blend filter) Previously, I used to "Holy 3". xD

    Transparent/Modulate/Additive materials. But you already.

    I'll send you a example of 1st, when I come back home. ;)
    Scale to match the camera? Are you just trying to move dummy to camera target position or something more?
    Something like this would work in a single player map (requires vJASS):

    library CameraDummy initializer init

    globals
    private constant integer DUMMY_ID = 'hfoo'
    private constant player DUMMY_OWNER = Player(0)

    private unit dummy
    endglobals

    private function move takes nothing retuns nothing
    call SetUnitX(dummy, GetCameraTargetPositionX())
    call SetUnitY(dummy, GetCameraTargetPositionY())
    endfunction

    private function init takes nothing returns nothing
    set dummy = CreateUnit(DUMMY_OWNER, DUMMY_ID, 0.00, 0.00, 0.00)
    call UnitAddAbility(dummy, 'Amrf')
    call UnitRemoveAbility(dummy, 'Amrf')
    call TimerStart(CreateTimer(), 0.03125, true, function move)
    endfunction

    endlibrary
    Shush now. It's great that you have something to do instead of sitting infront of the computer all the time. Unlike me. I am just rotting here.

    Hey Mr Toby , am i allowed to use this model? And also , i want to know where did you download-ed this model ? :)
    I just found it in your Rat Wars Map and i want to use it in my Dead End Map.
    Maybe I'm missing your point, but I'm not getting your question. But neverthless, I'm sure I don't know the answer myself.
    It's actually a combined effort by many people. Stryderzero merely contributed the last 11%. I use the JNGP editor. Stryderzero added a lot of doodads himself. But sure, I can wait a day. Shove in there whatever you think I may find useful.
    Eh, it's a gamble either way. I'll pastebin it and PM a link. Take a look, give me a few pointers.
    If you're not in the mood to be the terrainer, I can pass those along to the next terrainer I ask.

    Thus, even if you're not able to help me create the terrain, you would still provide a valuable critique. That could work?
    Hey, just thought I'd ask around when I see good terrainers here. I saw some of your work and figured I'd ask you, although work has already been done on the terrain. I know of some terrainers that treated working a map that someone else had worked on as a grave sin for some reason. Anyhow, since I need someone with experience to finish the last parts, I figured I'd ask you.

    As a compromise, because I can't really await the development of an entirely new terrain map. Thus, you're free to modify existing parts of the terrain if you feel it looks better with your tweak.

    Here's a link to the project. Send me a reply if you're interested or not.
    http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/map-development-202/goblin-dominator-squad-2-0-a-229228/

    The reason I want a reply even if the case would be that you're not interested, it's to let me know to stop pestering you about something you don't want to take part in.

    Anyhow, I intend to contact multiple terrainers at your level of skill. Hopefully at least one of them is in the mood to help me. Hell, you may even know a few of them. Anyhow, here's to hoping.
