Well, it was also to balance it out. 5/5 was too high. You do have skills though and I have great expectations for you.

I really want to make a 6v6+ melee map where after victory, it unlocks an Arena and the top 2 players can battle it out. I think you should try to think of something like that, where the game employs standard functions but then switches to add something new. I've seen melee using control points, thats sorta cool, but I think there are an infinite number of possibilities. Some of the recent maps use waygates and have terrain separations. I like that. I need to learn how to make simple shorter maps, I take on huge projects with high goals and they take forever, I get no help and finally the fall below my expectations. I doubt anyone will ever play Choplifter 3D. Its just not what people are into. No matter how cool I make the flight system, it won't be good enough.

Your not a bad map maker, you are much better than most of the new people who start here. Also I was much worse than you. My first map I released in here I just came on, and released a map within 10 minutes of registration. Worst way to start mapping career.

I always thought my maps were crap, and that is the main reason I stopped remaking my ORPG. Although I have always thought this same feeling as you, I had a friend at school that would share our love for warcraft 3 maps, like Teve, and make maps to please that person. Don't think about anyone else, because then you will be much more relaxed, cause I can tell by your post your stressed about wasting time on something you will leave soon or later.

So if you do come back my idea for you is; To find a friend on here (You already have a lot by the looks) and find an interest. This could be in real life, find a friend real life that likes games, and you can make maps with/for him/her.

Anyway, I hope you don't leave, but if you do;

I think it just go down on the fact that you're taking everything seriously. I think you should laid back a little bit, its not bad to be a laid back person every once in a while, you'll probably feel a little bit better if you do that.

Just don't become as laid back as me, my friends wants to kill me for being too easy going.

It's always the same and no, I am not broken - it doesn't affect me other than taking time for writing most basic stuff, to childish hivers who can't accept it, again and again.

I want good maps here, especially when I expect them to be good due to ratings. Crap maps are not needed -> Their creators should react on feedback, or use the Map Dev Thread. It's sad enough what gets approved by seemingly un-competent mods.

Why do you write me tons of visitor messages (that I will remove)? Same thing.

Those maps are actually updated by the author right now so I don't see any problems for other users to download it.
