  • Ah, sweet stuff! This is really interesting. ^^
What I wanted to do was make a sort of troll sniper(with the Rifleman\Marine\Space Orc animations, although I'm more leaning towards the Rifleman at the moment), who can "Morph" into an alternate form where he crawls around(à la Headhunter), but is unable to attack. So a mix between the middle one and the right one on your image would be the best, I think. Of course, I'll have to patch up the animations so that they aren't so screwed up(Death, for example), but otherwise what you did is perfect. :)
I'd love it if you could make a tutorial about doing stuff like that.
Oh, and out of curiosity, how long did each of this take you, approximately? And how difficult would it be to repeat what you did, assuming I know more or less how your program works? ^^

P.S: ...By the way, would it be possible to give the Headhunter marine upper body animations? I think, at the moment, the headhunter's aim is a little bit off. :p
(And if possible, would it screw the model up too much?)
Have you ever thought about uploading the model requests you do? I know many of them you might consider "too small", but many others aren't and would greatly enhance the diversity of the Model section (I'm lookin' at you, Coral Golem and Flaming Pegasus :p). Moreover, it would catch the attention of others in a positive way (towards Heaven's Fall, your MatrixEater, the Request topic, etc).

    Just a thought.
hey there Retera, checkout your MatrixEater thread, got some questions and suggestions there for you
Could you explain to me how, for example, can I transfer the Marine's animations to the Headhunter, while keeping the Headhunter animations?
Hmm. Forgive me if this was answered in the thread already, but, can the Matrix Eater transfer animations without destroying the previous animations? And does it do so better than Oinker's AnimTransfer tool? I'm just asking, because I'm working on a model, and I was wondering if I could use your tool, for a change. ^^
    upload the latest MatrixEater :ogre_rage:
    please I'am begging you

no seriously, it's hard to work with the bugs :/
you mentioned gonna help on the pure fire dragon request, how are you gonna do this again?
Have you started with all of this? Because maybe I can if you haven't started yet

Edit: resourceful is just resourceful
Uhhh... i don't speak programmer yet... So I pretty much didn't understand what you wrote  one question, what is the difference of v0.10 I think... Than v0.11 on your matrixeater?
I don't really know what rectangle-line display really means, but in Mdlvis when you press F it shows the texture of the model
Another question (I hope I'm not getting irritating )
Will you put a view texture like the one on Mdlvis? Or built-in animation controller?
It's useful so you do not have to go and test it ingame just for you to see if it works
Didn't know that the mouse wheel has a function lol, you should really make a tutorial on your matrixeater when you have free time
I never had the chance to try Oinker because it requires some kind of program and when I tried to download that program it crashed lol.

a tutorial is an excellent idea because when I try to use the animation import the model just crash (again) lol because a "event" error

1 question, does the arrow keys already have a function in MatrixEater? because it's so hard trying to click the built-in arrowkeys each time you want to move it, or I suggest enable it to hold
Thank you again for your efforts on the Model Workshop... I wish there was something I could do to pay you back.
Sorry for the late reply, matrixeater is really a great tool because you can just use the "editable" icon to edit geosets and that really helps me alot.
Yes it mean spell effects. So the animating will just have to be transfered? I'm really having a hard time on importing animation in matrixeater because I don't know if the animations will suit the model. I saw the edited phoenix model and I was amazed :ogre_haosis:
so.. i can replace the old one with the one you gave me, eh?

oh and.. matrix eater has some kind of an anim-transfer? i cannot use the regular anim transfer because it seems to have a trojan or something S:
