I am doing ok... kinda sad now that i read that thread and that i wasn't here to talk to her or post for her to see.

I didn't knew i made such an impact on her, and now i am sad i never got to meet her even tho it would probably just took me 2-3 hours to reach her, i feel really bad for not trying to now.
Makes me want to embrace life to it's fullest... her words really hit me hard even tho i wasn't so close to her as some people here.

As for the disadvantage you mention, the race will rely on wood and gold, and you will be able to do basic things with only gold and lumber. But to really perfect your strategy, you will need souls for really useful upgrades.
Also, only a part of the souls is from corpse draining. Im planning on events (soul meteorits) which could bring extras for other races too -specific buffs- if they hunt down the meteorit first.

I want you to enlighten me about my race idea in the TT#8 contest

I think the most important thing in the description was time, death, and souls. So i got my idea that the race will need to collect souls from the dead corpses, and you need souls for your upgrades.
The problem is with my race concept: I imagine a human/elfish order, who is connected with the otherworld, and so you can train priests and soldiers, or some sort of phantom beasts from that other dimension.
It doesnt contain lava, and chaos stuff, that you mentioned in your comment at all, but according to the main article, it doesnt have to be like that either. So im asking you, will i lose hard points from concept with this idea?

Wait wait.. so.. I have to draw a character after each mini contest with the specific weapon/armor I drew in the contest, or will it be like another mini contest? Does he have to wear the weapon I will make in this contest or no? Is it like "create a hero" or "create a hero based on the weapon you made in How Would I be: My Weapon<span style="font-size: 9px">moose</span>"?
