The tree house is supposed to be a hideout, but if it is needed to be outside the Wasteland of Evil, it's fine too. Yes, I was actually thinking of a dwarven rifleman while writing the story, I'm glad that it worked well.

Then how about make him hungry for battle? Let's say that he wanted to know his true strength after being corrupted by the Darkness, so he is finding strong opponents who can match his evil powers. That can be a reason too, for him to join the Kingdom of Evil.
I find it difficult to imagine that either. I guess I'll just post the introduction of my characters now, I'll think of a way later on my next post.
