  • I has Borderlands 2 already, but not really a fan of AC 3. Im looking for Windows Games, I dont really need anything new, but im picking between Guild Wars 2 or Dark Souls.
HEY. Gimme a game to buy, with good story preferably, so I can glue myself to my computer screens for the christmas break :D

    Single-player, multi-player, any would do :D
Thats good to hear that your project rocks! Will be looking forward to it.
I really learned a lot from you :) maybe after some time I'll be better. iI'm having a hard time finding myself but now i guess i have a distinguished path. :D thanks :D I'll try to read again later and go programming in C. Just taking my nap, my back already hurts :D
More than a year but you are already great? :D oh i remember. windows is made in C, (based on what i heard) anyway, that is my plan. after c++ going to java and maybe joomla after. thanks i must read now some tutorials. i installed C a couple of minutes ago :)
Finished downloading turbo c++ anyway, why i cant practice java? i mean after mastering c++ i cant go with java? and why prefer c++ over java? :))
master, i need jdk for 32 bit OS, i cannot find one, all i see is 64x and 86x anyway, im quite excited. thanks for motivating me :)

im regretful that i joined late in this community. T.T
I downloaded the net beans. anyway are you using turbo c++ or visual c++? i dont know how to use the visual c++ and already reading some tutorials. after familiarizing and knowing the techniques, i might start on java too as well. :)
    Noticed that, and accepted it!
I'm good, thanks. OH! Also! Check on the new underground.
    I have returned! *evil laugh*
jQuery is an open source library extension for Javascript.
while AJAX = Asynchronous JavaScript and XML.
I think you're really going to like jQuery once you take a look at it.
It's very similar to the Javascript syntax has lots and lots of cross-browser special effects that you can use and can really give your website a nice feel and look.

jQuery is also faster to write out and only take a few lines of code to accomplish what javascript can do in lots of lines of code.

Plus it's really easy to learn if you know a bit about javascript: http://docs.jquery.com/How_jQuery_Works

There is even a UI extension for jQuery that has some pre-created widgets for you like: http://jqueryui.com/progressbar/#animated

Ajax is a new way of using existing standards of programming languages that allows certain elements in your website to load data directly from the server. In this way you can for example create a field that gets automatically updated instead of having to refresh the entire page.

Be reminded that json is faster then xml ;)

About my project: I still don't have a name for it but I do have a big concept and idea. And yeah it's nice to know vJass but I also want to learn a bit more about terraining and modelling. I also know quite a lot about 2D art and photoshop. It's always nice to expand your knowledge. Either ways, for my new project it's not going to be a big issue since Adrian is going to do the terrain.

Haha, that's why I made sure his website uses a content management system. So that I won't have to do everything myself when he wants to change something xD.

I have actually liked working with drupal so far, it's really nice to create a website in such short time without having to do lots of work. The developer API can still give you lots of control over your entire website while you can make it easy to work with for your users. Plus the fact that there is a active community working on the issues of specific modules for your site, which can make it very secure for your website. Every now and then you can simply update parts of your website so to say.
Oh cool you're studying web design :D?
Contact me anytime when you need help with that I'm certified as an application developer.
Or if you need some nice advice in CSS, HTML, PHP, Javascript, jQuery, Ajax etc...

Well you need a chunk of terrain to support your systems I suppose ^.^...

    Yeah, we're having a fun time :)
I'm thinking about starting my own project after his SvD project where he'll be working as a terrain-er and I'll be working with 2 other coders to create systems.
I've setup some pretty structured documentation for when working in teams
(allows all members to work simultaneously on 1 project while each having their own map).

I'm currently working on creating a simple custom inventory system in vJass which contains a vendor. And I've already had some pretty cool ideas for my first directed project.

Including that it will be open source! I want people to learn from each other so we are going to release all of the systems in a excluded map. (not the original with the terrain, that one will be protected). And since they are going to be universal each system can work individually in any map. We will also include a small manual at the top of each system so that hopefully everyone will understand how to use them. Some systems are already done before the project has its own thread.

All I need is to have more spare time to work on it :(
My uncle wanted me to recreate his website... again (third time) -,-
So I'm probably going to finish it this or next week so that I can stop worrying about it.
It really drives me insane >.<

EDIT: sorry about the huge wall-o-text here, I tend to do that everywhere for some reason...
Haven't spoken to you in a while b.t.w. How are things going :D?
I see that you're working on a nice looking map?
Can you give me a example what the Shadowmoon Valley might look like in a small map that you can do for me?
Just a example of some hills and what not.
