Hey, def. Wanna ask you something. In your custom stats system, how exactly do you use the health/mana increase/decrease abilities? You add them and when do you remove them? I mean, just explain everything related to the dummy spells, please. It's really important. I am making a system for my map that decreases mana. My algorithm is right, i get the numbers i need but the only problem is that i can't work it out with the abilities. This is what i do :
I have 4 skills. All of them have 10 levels, the 10-th level decreases the mana with 0, from 1 to 9 the levels are like "-1,-2,-3...-9" for the first skill, "-10,-20,-30...-90" for the second skill, etc. I have explained this method to you before. So when a unit enters the map, i add it to a unit group and give this unit all the four skills but make them lvl 10 (decrease nothing). When the hero gains a level or acquires/loses an item, a trigger runs and finds out the appropriate level for all the four spells. And here comes the problem. I try to change the level of the four spells, but nothing happens. I make sure it's the right skill, the right unit and the right level.
Can you help? Maybe tell me how your system works?
