    I really appreciate your endeavor to make it possible for everybody to submit their entries by extending the contest. I'll take part in the next spells/maps/heroes/techtree for sure but I can't make it on time for this techtree. Good luck with all thos contests you're hosting simultaneously.

    Being as originaly it was meant to be inside the arena anyway (the changes took place during which time it should have already started but was delayed by judging of #7) i see no issue. This wasn't meant to be one of the "new" kind of contests anyway, at least not in the time we were discussing it in the thread.

    A popular demand indeed, however the same conditions were expected.

    Then don't host mini contest with themes that take so much time.

    If it were a mini TD or a puzzle theme it would be doable.
    In this state i personally can't produce a worthwhile entry and i doubt many of them will emerge.

    It's not about me tho, let's see what other people say.

    So a bossfight which is easier to produce than a dungeon gets twice the time? (4 weeks)

    Is it only me or is that completely unreasonable? I mean we had nice entries of a bossfight but when you think of it, most of those maps were short and it took 1 month making them.
    Dungeons need more work on them.

    Not to mention not all mini contests are the same, you can't compare this mini contest to an art mini contest.

    Oh, it's not important or anything. I was just curious if that was possible. I recall being very happy about my 2nd place in that one modeling contest, but then immediately very disappointed after learning that the award isn't displayed because it's not first place. :p
    Also, in WC3C, the awards are all displayed, and they look pretty nice. So I guess I just don't see a reason why it shouldn't be like this.
    If a more complex system can't be made, it must be possible to make first place awards take priority over 2nd place awards...? You know, in case someone has like 5 1st place awards and 3 2nd place awards, they wouldn't want the 2nd place awards to show.

    Pharaoh, is there any way at all that I could convince you to make it so that "runner-up" awards show up under a user's rep, like they used to?

    The best possible system would be to have a maximum of X awards visible, and the user can simply choose which awards he wants visible. I'd say 5 or 10 awards are fair, so long as it doesn't look cluttered.

    Ohhh, I see, well yeah, that is the main reason why the site actually died, users only registered to download rip stuffs, we're only few who actually talks to each other. :C but meh, I got everyone on skype xD

    Hmm.. the UI is currently 100% based on CnP. ^^" I'm afraid it might go against the rules, so I thought maybe graphic section might be more suitable since it's more about images manipulation. =)

    btw, let's just say pure CnP go against the rule of resources in the hive, If I post and attach it in the UI list I made just to share to the community, does that go against any rules? just like some of the UIs like bioshock and resident evil.

    Didn't saw it XD, but that is weird because I always check the notice board. But glad to see it open again, since I always see thread asking for help and members etc etc but the map don't get any progress and thus become a junk thread.

    Hi Pharaoh_ . I would like to ask a simple question. If I wanted to upload an in-progress UI that is made with mostly/fully CnP, where should I post the thread? texturing or designing? Had to ask because I'm unsure with the rules regarding CnPs. Thanks in advance. ;)
