  • That sounds serious. Some of the things can get really simple when you practice a bit by yourself though. You can learn quite a lot by yourself if you really want to!
Since the day Lancelot and Guinevere betrayed Arthur and he abandoned Excalibur in his rage and pain, the land had been in decline: poverty, disease etc running rampant. During this time, most of Arthur's knights and soldiers lost faith in him, and joined Morgana and Mordred's cause instead. That's where they get their army from. The final success of the Grail Quest sees Arthur find emotional absolution and reclaim the emotional strength to battle for the ideals he built his kingdom on for one final time.
I loved the language used in the film - it's archaic, poetic English. I personally didn't find it hard to understand. Part of understanding the tale requires you to realize that symbolism and reality are often intertwined. That is, the metaphorical and the real exist side-by-side. For example, the grail is as much a physical object as a spiritual one: it's a cup, but it's also the sense of forgiveness and inner peace that Arthur needs. Excalibur is a sword, but it also represents kingship, power and honour, and is tied closely with the land itself.

Mordred was conceived and raised by Morgana for the specific purpose of wresting Arthur's crown from him - she did this to get revenge on both Arthur and Merlin for the death of her father (the Duke of Cornwall) and callous treatment of her mother (Igraine, also Arthur's mother) at the beginning of the film.
Well, kind of, some times. Not that often. I do read my fair share of manga though.
    ----------
The original visual novel didn't have that clue that Archer is Shirou until the 'Unlimited Blade Works' route (which obviously made it a lot more surprising), and also had a better-told romance betweeh Tohsaka and Shirou (rather than Saber and Shirou), but yeah, the anime movie glosses over anything that's not an action scene. Didn't bother me though since I already saw the plot. :p

    good god! just be posted
Keep in mind that Fate/Stay Night takes a lot of liberties with the source material, but for what it's worth, yes, Excalibur does explain why Arthur fights Mordred, why there is rebellion/disillusionment amongst his knights, and stuff like that.

Sorry to hear you didn't like Unlimited Blade Works, I personally rather enjoyed it. In terms of plot is suffers from being too short (in the visual novel, Unlimited Blade Works was the longest route, longer than Fate), but I thought the action scenes were pretty awesome.
Well, I'd be happy to offer any of my melee maps as a template for your project. ^^
King Arthur never killed his father (in fact, he never met his father) - he killed his son, Mordred. And yes, the movie does explain it. :)

The film does a good job covering the 'official' version of the legend, although of course it's a bit tough to compress the entire massive book into a single film. Pretty admirable job overall though. Be aware it's an older film so don't expect any fancy CGI special effects. Personally I think that while it's a bit uneven in parts, it's still a really excellent film (and one of my favourites, because I love the character of King Arthur).
    Aww.. :/

Then post it any time now and in the next Map of the Month event, you may hopefully get voted!
Also, the original story of Fate/Stay Night isn't a manga - it's a 'visual novel' type game, which has three different alternate plotlines called "Fate", "Unlimited Blade Works", and "Heaven's Feel". The anime series mostly follows the plotline of the first route, 'Fate' (with a bit of a nod to the other two). There's also a full length Fate/Stay Night movie called "Unlimited Blade Works", which covers a lot of the plot of "Unlimited Blade Works" route (and is pretty awesome too). I recommend watching it if you like the anime series, though it might be a bit hard to follow at parts if you haven't played the visual novel.

(I should add that the original PC version of the visual novel is rated R18 because of some graphic sexual content, though there was a version released on the PS2 that had the sex stuff removed. Remember the bit with the CGI dragon in the anime? Yeah, what originally happened between Saber and Shirou in the visual novel wasn't a CGI dragon. :p)
Saber is King Arthur (though obviously, since she's a woman, not exactly as legend describes King Arthur). If you want to know the legendary history of King Arthur, that's not something you'll find in a Fate/Stay Night manga - the story is an old English legend. There are heaps of books about it, so it's not hard to find one that covers it. The most 'official' one is called "Le Morte d'Arthur", but that might be a bit of a tough read. If you'd like to see a good film about it instead, I'd recommend the film "Excalibur" - that's the most accurate one you're likely to find.
Ah that way - Sure I can do something with that.. I hope tomorrow.. But I might get delayed since I am still a bit behind the stuff I have to do, due to just being back from vacation.
Haha, I think I know the part you mean (where Emiya shields Saber from Berserker's attack). Yep, that looked painful.
It actually good that their re-downloading your updated version, that means you got follower, don't lose courage bro, you're just starting, continue updating it then you'll get a lot of followers.
hey map designer, can i add you to friends?( i dont know how ,plz tell me how if i can (was inactive for a long time ) )
Good to hear. Haven't seen Angel Beats myself, but I personally really enjoyed Fate/Stay Night (even though I think the plot(s) of the original Visual Novel are even better than the anime)
If your questions were a list like Archian required, then no. Otherwise, post them in AC.
I'll see what I can do, with my style of making melee maps, its really hard to expand them to 8-10 players.
Idk what to tell you man, try doing what they suggested (posting in admin section) and hoping for an answer.

It sure is clear there won't be any answers in public atm.
I can't find any condition in AI editor that checks for enemy units, regular AI editor is rather limited sadly. Think that for what you want you need to make AI straight with Jass or in game triggers.
If you're talking about the QnA thread, well almost all of the questions are already answered, and just like what Bern said below, people who post there would not simply be satisfied on the answers that they get.
As I noticed what you said to Pharaoh.
Is your question even worthy to have looked at by the staff? Atleast what I had seen of the Question and Answer thread, it was full of unworthy questions that have an obvious answer, but most would not simply be satisfied with an answer that they get.
If someone sayd that hive died, then I would have believed it! xd
Both mine and ya profile have no new messages ftw.
