It doesn't really matter WHEN damage comes, but it would be best if it happen when hole suck units to the middle of AoE. Damage is dealt by the hole itself, so you can adress the damage to Hero.

It's ok, you can do it your way, but even with two Flame Strikes the collision of order ID would not occur, because it would not be possible during the game as two of these would not be obtainable.

Don't worry about that ability confusion. You would not be able to have these two spells. In later game you may have to choose the spell between three of these: Pulse of Sun, Heaven Strike and Dark Hole. So you might have only one of these. Of course if it is more comfortable for you to switch, go ahead.

Knowing JASS is actually a must if you want to get real good at GUI (weirdly enough ).
It can shorten trigger so much. Local variables are a great example, but a good understanding of leaks comes automatically with JASS.

And it's going to stay as it is: I'm just going to check the site every day to see if someone said anything to me, but I'm not going to go on the forums.

I think I said that I would still check my PM's / VM's (but I have no idea when/where I said that).
I've pretty much given up on GUI, I'm probably still able to use it, but JASS is my favourite way to code now (with a little bit of vJass, though only for readability mostly).

And not much happened to me. I've been thinking about quitting the hive for a very long time, but the community always brought me back.
Then I just decided to end it, because I felt like I was becoming useless. Didn't want to be a burden or anything, so I quit all activity on the forums.
