  • hmm with the vampires is me thinking of the Godfall Project on the hive (Vampires were a race with some 'day walking' necromancer, as well as raised dead), as well as the Heroes of Might and Magic series (where Vampires were a single unit, basically Heroes of Might and Magic's 'races' were a compilation of various creatures which fit together in the union of a common theme :p)

but perhaps a cult of people wanting to be vampires would also be handy :p
It's alright morbent. I'm just kind of new here and that's why i am not so sure about doing anything right now. And yeah, i don't really mind if you reject my buddy request. Anyway, i don't really know anything about making skins or models :p but will try by the end of this year. Exam is closing in .
it is true that in most lore vampires are of upperclass
    hmm
but yeah i've been looking through the hive for things to represent vampires but GOD there is a lack of variety that follows a certain theme XD

like there's a couple of models by pyramidhe@d that fit together, then there's dionesiist's vampires which are great in their own right, then here's others around including dreadlords and the likes, but none of them really seem to work well together :p

perhaps this is why most people who put vampires in games combine them with necromancers? :p
i am curious, do you reckon you'd be able to create a skin converting the bandit creeps to vampires? would be interesting to see
If you are happy with how the standard wc3 model looks, there is still room to improve, because to be honest with you, the wc3 standard textures have a lot of room for improvements, so if you want to keep the concept I still strongly suggest you to rework them yourself.

EDIT: And one important thing to note: The face always adds to the character of your very own skin and with the skull being so important for this model this does to. So you might want to add your own touch there considering the importance.
Thing is, the Hive skin section only approves of those skins that are modified heavily, more than 75 % at least.
    Hello there,
I feel it's to early to moderate your Druid skin already, because you can get more feedback of the community first, so I just want to advice:
While I really like the idea you will need to change more in order to get this skin approved. Basically try to complete your idea a bit more. A new face, etc...

    Regards, M0
Hello, I really liked your suggestion

I'm updating my models adding a METAL version to them in the portrait, also next time better reply in my wall than replying in your own wall (I didn't saw your message till now). "use button View Conversation for that"

About the metal subject I guess that with some filters in the texture you can archive a shiny metal look, for now I have greyish and opaque metal textures.

Hope you like the newer versions.

PS: I will update the shields last cause they already use the portrait for the other hand version, so I would just have to upload a new version of them with the new texture.
Hmmm, the model itself is awesome, but it looks really orcish to me so if it is a model for an orc it should have a skin fitting to it, you see the simple white skin is quite... simple :D just one white color and a yellow border, if you can make it like, the yellow to be like leather and the white to look like steel it would fit it better.
About modifying the model - there is nothing to modify on it, ok maybe a little bit to thinner in the plate for the nose, but the model is awesome, the skin needs more editing... I myself prefer the simplest version of your shields because the others have some points that can't possibly even fit for an orcish shield because orcs use round shields... About the helmet... just fix the skin to be more like a helmet, using leather and steel colors, a sharp light to make the metal look realistic and the leather with lines of color variating from brown to beige, and thin white lines...
    Hello,

Could you be more specific about my model Advanced White Helment, I am learning how to model and I would like to have feedback from the users.

    [post=2157486]Your comment on my model[/post] :ogre_haosis:

PS: what do you think I should add or modify to the model to deserve a 5/5?
