  • Well I have a new hobby: DownHill! Don't know if you know that, you pick up a bike, a huge mountain, stand at top and then here we go -down-
    Well, I felt down some times, had broken arm but all in all it's damn cool, a lot of adrenaline and even more fun and action!

    About Warcraft 3? Well you made me crazy you know that at all?? oO
    You remember the spell "Deathball" I made where you helped me. You used a very good way/system, too move the ball. When I make a different spell, I try too use that way too, but it NEVER! works .. it's like cursed, I look so exactly to your way, then I code it and WRONG! the dummy moves (when it even moves at all..) some wired and odd ways .. it's like cursed >_>

    But all in all nothing changed much since the last time we talked. Everything is cool as always =D

    Web pages? Actually not. But I friend of mine doing something for the game "Aion". I don't know if you know this game, but this game is manly scripted in XML you know. He asked me once for help for about a half week an since I'm learn pretty fast (even faster if I'm really interested in (on of my talents^^)), I help him now.

    But I think I'll use this knowledge for Web pages too .. Also I already now basic and some advantage things of Html so it wouldn't be a bad idea =D

    Btw: Now you know that I can C++, Html and XML, so if you think something like "what a freak^^" .. yes maybe you are right =D
    C#? Isn't that used in the galaxy editor? Well because if you would try to learn C++, I know that language (very) good - but at the moment I'm more interested in XML, looks easy so why not =D
    Well ... I'll continue it a little bit only like making one or two spells or when someone needs help I help him/her when I can .. but nothing active anymore =D

    Nah... i will not actually use your system (i think). Because i was not looking for one. I viewed it just for fun. :D

    The system is very good and i will use it if i need it sometime. :)
    Well. What i want is when the enemy heroes die, the heroes from the other team to just simply stay in place. Because after they kill the enemy heroes, they walk all over the map.

    Haven't really tried it in v4.3.0 but it bugs in the old versions
    and please, don't use GroupUtils :D kinda slow as said by Bribe

    well gonna test it still since i removed some modPriorites and Filters for v4.3.0

    And still gonna test if that bug only works when I optimized the map or if the map isn't optimized
    The only reason I wrote it is because your AI needed it :D

    The codes on my map is pretty.. rubbish since I have 1 percent knowledge on jass.
    Yeah a null filter these days is a wonderful thing because filters are ugly :mad:
    Honestly, I thought those were part of the system ;)

    Well, the system itself apart from incorportating some of those changes on its own, doesn't have a lot of room for improvement. Though using the code argument in EnumItemsInRect is better than using the Filter argument, because the Filter argument creates a handle + is slower due to the extra function call + possibly even slower because it evaluates instead of just opening a new thread like it does for the "code" argument.
    Yo dawg, I heard you like anonymous functions and textmacros, so we put an anonymous function inside a textmacro inside an anonymous function inside a textmacro so you can run anonymous functions while you run textmacros while you run textmacros while you call anonymous functions :D
    The AI is pretty simple: each army has 12 units. The units follow the hero around the map keeping some distance (to avoiding blocking). There are 2 modes: Offense mode - the army will attack anything in sight (same as attack move), and won't avoid battles. Defense mode - the army will only attack if it is attacked or if the hero start the attack.

    Also the army protects the hero in the battles, kinda like in dota, when the hero is attacked by another hero in a certain range of the army, the units attack move to that location - this action has a cooldown of some seconds.

    Since there are 10 different types of units, something more elaborated could be done aswell, like for example, always keep archers in the back and tankers in the frontline.
