    An artist must be contemporary, to reflect on his own period in time. Yet I don't like abstract art, i think its crap. First 3 generations of abstract make sense because of political and art revolution at that time, everything pass that just makes no sense.

    Conceptual is subjective, and has many faces. Any piece of art can be considered conceptual, unless its illustrational.

    I like classical style art, and that is what I do. or wish to do when ever I get some f$#%#$ time. And for subject matter I like contemporary and historical scenes. too bad the only thing my art site has is old school work and commission work.

    I painted this in 4 hours, because I painted over the screen shot from the game mount and blade. Scroll down a bit, in comments I left a link to the screenshot.

    whatever saves time is ok, painting over pictures or other things is ok, most of top industry artist do it all the time. There is no such thing as cheating, as long as the final result looks GOOD!

    the "style" is not consistent. one icons had dark lines, the other had smooth lines. And that is a trait of some one who is using pictures to paint over. Not saying you do, just saying that that is what understood by overall inconsistency in style.

    But that is not important.
    What IS important is READABILITY! how clearly does the icon look? it needs to look exactly what it is and be "ICONIC" almost as a symbol or a logo, easy to remember, to spot, to use. it needs to fit in the frame, not too small, not too large.
    Take any blizzard icons and put them next to yours, and see what they did that works, and see what you that did that is better, or worse. If you drew a sword icon, take blizzard's sword icons and see how they did it. Because what they do works!

    I think Nwar is the only guy on hive who got the blizzard icon style down perfect! I dont like blizzard style my self, in fact I hate blizzard company, and I dont like their art style at all.

    Why would a person in his right mind spend hours rendering details that will not be visible on 64X64 anyways? THERE IS NO REASON! that person is: 1 A kid that has nothing else to do, 2 a fucking retard, 3 someone who get PAID to do that.

    And since I do not relate to those 3 categories I find that spending 10 to 120 seconds on an Icon in sketchy manner is most productive option of effort for time per payoff.

    I will NOT add more work into icons, unless Im paid to do so. It is a free source, take it, use it, or don't use it. I don't care.

    So, what's up with your BTNCallToArms resource? Is it still labeled "needs fix"? You can try updating it with the same files and see whether it gets approved or not (that's what I did with my potion).

    Well, maybe it looks complex, but trust me, it really isn't that complex :D My map has actually much more complex systems and spells (and we've just finished our newest hero [not the coding, but the spell ideas], and trust me, it'll be so damn unique :D)

    You just have to get some experience about vJASS. As my imagination sucks and I can't really draw I decided to learn programming. I have to say it's pretty fun, I like watching as a new spell or system is building from the huge nothing :)

    I'm here tho', so if you have questions or request, and if I have some free time, I'll help you.

    It could be done in GUI, of course, but actually my vJASS script is way more efficient. Also, I'm only coding vJASS scripts, so if you want it to be done in GUI, you must either do it yourself or ask someone else to do it.

    I like the idea but here's a hint...because of the size I only make the big parts first and see how it looks and after add details...and tink in contrast, if you have a dark spot, add a light element to stand out...and thicken the line so it shows more...
