  • Hey, TKF.
    I started playing Cruiser Command map a lot lately and i often seem to have low FPS later in game, sometimes makes it unplayable. Last time, all players had to exit Warcraft because of terrible FPS.
    So i thought, since you stoped developing it, if you can give me the unprotected version, i could optimize the triggers and maybe improve refinery bot AI (because it's pretty bad atm).
    I would really like to continue work to Cruiser Command.
    I've got very much Ideas : )

    "battle scanner have some little bug."

    both cruisers are perfectly display enemy core figures and enemy energy figures.
    but the redcruiser battle scanner display itself hull
    and bluecruiser display itself hull and shield.

    Since you finished SC 0.94,my friend szszss who translated Cruiser Command and Solar Conquest into Chinese with me have finished the expansion of Solar Conquest named Solar Conquest Evolution based on 0.81c.It would be an honor if you allow us to develop the expansion of Cruiser Command.Unprotected map of CC0.85d and SC0.96d is needed for further work,thx:)
    So, if you don't working at Cruiser Command, i would continue this for you. I am the leader of an Cruiser Command clan, and we would be very sad, if this great map die. : (
    I think not, Sc2 has too many limitations... Wc3 is the only game that is so great for its moddability.
    Damn THW will lost another active map maker.

    I had left my university, so I have to study hard to entrance into another school..
    I had said to you that I would like to translate SOLAR CONQUEST into korean,
    So you gave me open versoin of 0.94c version and I had finished it maybe 50%
    BUT I can't keep up with it anymore.. I'm really sorry
    I'm searching for successor for this work..
    11/10 is the examination day for me
    So If I can't find successor, I have to wait until then..

    Hi. I would like to translate Cruiser Command to Russian, but can't open it with editor. I guess it's protected? If you give me all the text i could translate it and you paste it in map. You don't seem to update it much anyway.
    I don't know if phoenix fire is more efficient than picking units. I haven't done such testings and compared with other systems since I've only used phoenix fire as a measure of collision detection.
    probably you could spam stop orders but they also fuck up pathing
    maybe stun or pausing would be ok but it depeds on what you need it for

    is phoenix fire more efficient than picking units in range?
    will you make the Solar v1.0 later?

    Maybe you can add some kinds of jet that help controling the planet.
    Also a revolution of space structure will be very interesting,No matter what is the object,like planet or starbase

    btw,report a bug.when i play Solar0.95 with 1.24b war3,i gave my ally some money(lumber),then my ally's war3 suddenly broke down.

    Me? I've just been busy as hell preparing for university and whatnot; hopefully it'll be over and done with in about 6 month's time! Gaming-wise, I've been playing minecraft recently; moderating the escapist magazine community's server.
    If to dream up, though track order is not random (i suppose it could be not such an easy algorithm w/o repetitions), but silence can be rnd sized from 25s to 2m and be rnd put after "1." <or> "2." <or> nowhere but not after "3.". Seems its not hard. Just thought aloud (something more complex Blizzard made). Current algorithm itself is nice, so its just an "upgrade"

    The requirements are met when its loaded, but for some reason it's not refreshed by itself. It's the same with yamato cannon.

    I've updated it to 0.83d and map has been rejected so far on hive. And will not be available on the maplists from now on. The map can still be downloaded so that doesn't matter.

    new energy based weapon is awesome.

    and now we use sometime 'overcharge laser'.
    but a clan member report to me some problem.
    if engineer load 'overcharge laser' when captain using command console,
    captain can't directly shoot 'overcharge laser'.

    because 'overcharge laser' not be refreshed.
    so captain should to cancel command console and agian grab command console.

    captain always do that.
    cancel and re grab, cancel and re grab.............
    that is uncomfortable.


    ps : he said "that situation also occur first overcharge laser shoot."
    Yea I just read the comments this morning; the response from the staff was a little rude, but what can you do? New version is up and running!
    Well, at least I will put Blizzard as credit taker and also change the minimap view and remove the credits there as well. In changelog in credits there I will put the info that Blodmon edited the model.

    I will update the map asap.
    I am not a map moderator, I was purly pointing out that the model looked stolen, everything seems resolved in my eyes now (once you credit blizzard for atleast the base model). Sorry for any inconvenience this has caused.

    Minor Cruiser Command report.
    Most console (if not all) menus use C hotkey to exit, but enclosed menus still use Esc, which effectively toggles tutorial help nodes. This is a bit annoying, as hotkey driving requires additional Esc pressing to disable help nodes again and again.
    Also enclosed menus have default wc3 tooltip about cancelling current task. "Return to previous/primary menu/console" might sound better.

    I will not change the wait timer as it isn't too short or too long as the ships most often get his abilities 99% of the times with weapons loaded. Just don't use abilities so fast after launching. The debug command should only works once in cases of rare control losses and after that the controls will be messed up, then dock as you cannot use any abilities without error.

    i have to wait 2~3 Seconds! when vessel move out of cruiser! ok. i understood.

    but if i wasn't do that, solve ways are only -debug or -eject. right?

    To cut to the point, use -debug command twise or more(not abuse), bug is return.

    if i regain miner vessel from -debug command.
    and once again try to jump ability when not enought energy. bug occur again!

    so try to use -debug command
    and regain vessel but the vessel CAN'T TURN. ONLY MOVE STRAIGHT.

    You can always select the vessel if you lose selection.


    What makes it stop? Can you eloborate that? What cause it to stop? Power failure or by itself?
