  • Unfortunately, Rui have remove my power as map moderator due to the update at map section. I won't be able to do anything till he restore my power.

    You would have to ask Rui to do it since he was the only person left with the authority to review map.
    Credits must be given to the creator of the resource, not the place where the resource was downloaded from.
    But, did't he already wrote all those model from hiveworkshop ? Which model does not taken from hiveworkshop site ?
    Look more closely.

    1) Does the map have a credits list?
    Yes. -> Good.

    2) Does the credit list contain credits for ANY of the models?
    No. -> Map contains stolen resources and violates hive rules.

    The Hive Workshop rules clearly state that maps may not contain uncredited material.
    Kitabatake, I have check the map you reported. It seems like it does contain credit list which naturally mean he did not violate any rules, is just that he did not mention all those name.

    If you want him to name each of the modeler, I suggest you to tell him instead.
    There is 1 thing you forgot to add to your anti-cheat system.

    You forgot to add turn on nodefeat trigger for greedisgood trigger, which gradually enable user to use that cheat once they active strengthandhonor.

    But i have a question. In your anti cheat system you are "making" a critical error...

    @Septimus: yes, I have replaced "mana" with "energy" because you don't need magical powers to swing a sword.

    Did the energy you mean is refer to mana ?

    I have play several map with such a similiar function, but I cannot recall their name. I would tell you if I remember some of it.

    Ow, if you ain't busy.. I would like you to make some cool model for my campaign, currently my campaign was coming to halt cause the lack of model, terrainner and loading screen (World map)
    @Septimus: I just tested that Jedi Arena game and it does have a slightly similar system, although very different...

    In my system attacks don't have 3 sec cooldowns. Instead, you can swing your sword continuously as long as you have energy left. Also, my system focuses on the actual swordfight instead of casting spells.

    And yes, I remember playing that Uther party minigame but all it really had was the attack ability.

    Do you know any other games that use similar systems?


    @ikillforeyou: I use magos model editor (aka war3modeleditor) and oinkerwinkles vertex modify
    it probably similiar but not quite as the 1 you mention.

    @Septimus: It's a sword fighting system. Instead of automatic attacking you must aim your hits and evade and parry your opponents' hits and also pay attention to your energy...

    New melee combat system ? it sound a bit strange, can you tell me a few info about it ?

    Yeah, I was trying to remove the mechanical voice and replace it with other. But it is hard to find somebody who are good in voice acting.

    About the grammar and spelling, I have given it to 3 people to help me improve it. But, it seem there is still a few error over it. It is not easy to find a person who could speak a fluent english.

    My campaign is a complete mixture of several element. Each chapter have different play style. For example, Chapter 1 is rpg playing style, Chapter 3 is AOS style, 4 is altered melee while 5 is maze.

    I would like to add a few interesting system, but my skill at GUI is just quite.. average..

    Infact, I have make all the basic layout of the chapter and quest. You could even view it from here.

    And about that campaign trailer:
    I recommend removing the mechanical voice and checking the grammar and spelling. Maybe polish the terrain a bit too.

    The campaign has some potential and it will need a lot of work, but it might turn out good and playworthy.
    I hope you have also thought of what will make your campaign special when compared to other campaigns
    (Such as using new gameplay systems and doing things like they have never been done before...)

    Hi there! I can surely say that while CRAZYRUSSIAN is a great icon maker, you are a great model maker. Say, i had inspiration today and would like to know if you are up to do this: a modification of a Faerie Dragon (or some flying unit) to make it look hellish like Doom Guard.
    Hey Kitabake If you have time could you please make a model of a few more final fantasy characters. I would love it since I am making a final fantasy hero wars map.

    Umm, currently the trailer just reveal 30% of the information.
    About the meteor at 1 scene, it been done at purpose and would be reveal at the campaign.

    Aeroblyctos told me that you create the animation loading screen for his The Chosen One campaign. So, I would like to have 1 animation loading screen for my campaign as well.

    Can you create a animation loading screen of a scenery that look like a hell ?

    Although I haven't start to create this campaign, I already make the basic layout of the storyline of the campaign, including the hero skill and item.

    But, the trailer still have a few flaw such as voice actor for the narrator that sound too robotic.

    As for the grammar error, I cannot fix most of it since all the voice already been implied.

    Hi, I was wondering if you would allow me to re-color your Platemail armor models texture. I'm currently working on a map that is going to work somewhat like RuneScape (I'f you have ever played it), to describe it some; you craft your armors and diffrent levels requires diffrent materials such as Bronze, Iron, Steel etc. but they should not swap models hence the texture re-coloring.

    Ofcourse all credits will still go to you :)
