Yes, the Battle Cruiser model of SC2 has served as the base model, but I do not use it for commercial purposes.

Its not for public use cause it looks like he ported it from SC2 and did not give credits to blizzard. The texture and geometry match those of SC2 almost 1 - 1 expect where stuff was removed or resized. If he were to upload it to this site it would be removed for model theft (a serious punishment).

I agree that it is possible to make models look very simlar, but in this case they are obviously too simlar. Is it too much to atleast credit blizzard for the base model?
