    Nop, I want a single animation: a sitting child, with its hands raised a bit, as if it's catching the chains of a swing. So yeah, the anatomy of it will look like this:

    Sorry it seemed rushed HC. But school starts for a lot of people at the end of august/beginning of sept. I was going to wait for the end of mc17 poll. But a lot of users didnt feel it was necessary. I know that you need time to find a partner so this contest is longer than most contests at least. :/ Good luck man :D
    You know what I'm really up for.. a pokemon themed mini-contest. Like really. How's things?
    do you know if there's a way to set parent and child bones in gmax? because right now i have to make basic animations and attach them in magos, which is a pain in the @$$
    I still voted for your model, because such a simple bug as that really doesn't take away from the awesomeness of the model.

    And who knows, maybe I will use it :p

    (Post) animations still needs alot of love, but just for the look and the concept of it.. have some cookies..
    After you created your wave use 3dmaxhys VA tool and wait..(max will split the plane in faces and animate them)...waiting....finish. Go to the frame where plane (wave) and those faces are at the same position, then click on the plane and convert it to editable mesh (don't remove the Wave modifier, the 3dmax will). (TIP: You will see that VA tool made 2 triangles out of one polygon, to save on file size and time. attach 2 faces into one. If you want! See the 3Ds max scene I uploaded!) Now you select all those animated faces and in User Property editor mark them as bones (if you want you can rename them), and the plane mark as connected mesh. I think you get the point now. Detach the faces from the plane and link them to the appropriate *bones* (made by VA tool).

    Add the wave modifier to your plane (carpet) and create some waves. Create just one wave, then later you can copy the keys in whatever animation you want. To get keys to your plane mesh you must use some scripts. There is a Blinkboys VA script and there is 3dmaxhys VA Tools script. I haven't tested Blinkboys script in 3Ds max 5, but it think it works. And that is it. If you run on problems just ask.
    To "bite of more than you can chew" is a saying, meaning that you start something you don't have the ability to finish in the end. I simply reversed it to fit the sentence I wrote.

    Srsly though for the picture, I randomly found the fsjal and some other drawings you made me in a folder and I totally got hard :D I didn't remember they were that awesum :p
