I'm well, thank you! I've spent 5 years on a campaign that is all but done, but in the last week I've gotten obsessed with a Star Wars dogfighting game.
I'm afraid I haven't implemented your suggestion yet. I'm not sure how... I have the player stored in a variable inside a giant loop; so there is no triggering player. I found a reasonable workaround though; I switched sounds and attached it to the player's ship so unless someone is on top of him only he will hear it.
