  • Would you like the UserDefineLanguage file that I am using for Notepad++ ?

    The only thing that I like about notepad ++ is the smart highlighting; when you click on a word, it highlights all identical words.

    Smart-highlighting is so important to me that I choose it over all the options JEdit has to offer.

    I have all the same colour schemes in Notepad++, I'm just going to parse the hashtable API so the list of keywords is complete and then I can send you the complete highlight script. My Notepad++ has all the BJ's, constants, natives (not from common.ai, I only chose UnitAlive from that document), keywords, types and string delimiters.

    I have asterick and forward-slash disabled as operators because otherwise you can't use line-comments/block-comments. I added them as keywords, instead, and gave them the same highlighting.

    Hey dude, I just played your new version of Pudge Wars and it's very nice, all tho there are no significant changes..
    But I must say that I think I found a bug

    When you acquire the blade-barrier rune it will also damage your mines and destroy, resulting in a damage to you. I don't remember this happening in the older version.

    And I'm sorry if that's the way you wanted to be, I just felt it's wrong.

    actually.. I wonder if you could rewrite the code using character classes.. hmm

    Ok... so here's what you do..

    convert all your numbers to hexadecimal
    convert all your characters in strings to a sequence of character classes
    convert all your function and variable names into non meaningful symbols

    There are no tools available to do this for JASS, but there might be a somewhat generic one = ).
    I'm through listening to Anachron, I gave him a chance to try and show me some proof that supports all the claims he blindly makes and he couldn't - instead he just posted back with more redundant bickering and ignorant claims. To be honest I think he's just an attention-whore, the guy made a public declaration of how he is leaving the modding community but he has been releasing updates to his systems and posting regularly on the forums - he's just out to get someone to pay attention to him and recognize him.
    Yea you know the game; I actually coded the fire-ball that knocks units back for him - mind you the entire process of making that game was relatively quick; instead of finalizing the mechanics he's added too much content, but I would like to see a revamp of it as well :D
    Well I was thinking about doing a "The Predator" revamped; the original is by kingofJasons who is a friend of mine back when I was in Clan BoM on BNet. The game itself has a lot of bugs, and there are a lot of areas that could be touched up and polished - what do you think?
    When I stress tested his system it was only running about 150 at a time before lagging; though that wasn't through the optimizer so I'm sure you could get a little better performance. To be honest I was disappointed I really thought his system was all that, not to say it isn't very quality. Much better than Anachron's lol.

    well the idea is that:
    the hero targets a group of trees. Then the trees send out roots to the nearest enemy unit and entangle it. Damage and Duration depend on the amount of trees in the given area. As the level increases so does the amount of units entangled. hope you like it since I decided im not entering :)
    submission rules and site rules was dif.

    submission rules was strictly for that section only while site rules imply to all section.

    For example, spells that do not have proper description are consider as violating the submission rules; but not the site rules. Hence, they're not suppose to be reported using the report button. On the other hand, if the spells contain something like pornographic, then it was consider as violation of site rules instead of submission rules; thus it can be report via report button.

    But, you can send the link of resources that violate submission rules to the staff that are responsible for the section in order to have him/her reject it.
    Ok sorry I was kinda busy with work. I have take a look at your spellscript. It looks pretty good. Do you wish me to rewrite the review?
