  • haha, credit Jigrael, I dont really know why the mods changed the creator of the files to Tarrasque, it was supposed to be a new beginning for me, sort of
    Working and being MUI are two different things. Working just meaning that e.g. a missile moves towards targeted point 800 units while MUI to me is those missiles multiplied by a great amount. Sorry if I confused ya but that's how I know it.

    and does hero contests now require you to make it like a resource hero spells? before it was all just about the hero. was the rule changed?

    I don't get the part "resource hero spells?". The spells are so important these days, you can just count it, balance, synenergy, fits with hero, visuals (goes along with fitting as well) while other stuff that is not accounted for among the spells are size of the model, model chosen and such.

    Hey, just want to inform you that the screenshots in your Map presentation do not work anymore. I think it's because you attached it via pastebin. However this is only a solution for images you need for a short amount of time. For images that you will need permanently I suggest you to create an album here on your profil and make it invisible to normal users, that's an easy way to upload screens to the Hive and use it in your presentation ;)

    yeah thats because you must have called action in ur map init trigger called Enable EGUI!

    Custom Script: Enable EGUI.

    that way u can use all custom features of JNGPS.
    reason why it has extra () is coz its in different "folder", for example blizzard put all actions in handle part while i made user click (unit, item, ...) any other handle to choose which makes it a bit more readable i guess...

    anyway reason why it tells you its undeclared is coz you must enable egui and that f13 should not be in map script, i mean it is (u can see it) but after compile it is removed anyway so dont worry about it.

    check ur folder "UI" in ur warcraft iii dir i mean PC one...

    if JNGPS loads then EGUI should as well (no it must), however maybe its older version? through i am sure its not.

    if it still does not work check ur registry keys (do they match your WC3 dir)

    if you cant figure it out just delete them and reinstall the whole WC3, after that extract JNGPS and that should do it.

    thats all i can think of, through this never happend for me before i use PC and it works fine so i really cant tell.

    maybe u have 2 WC3's? one for playing and one for map making... that could confuse JNGP and load different data.

    EDIT: which keys to delete?

    uninstall wc3

    go to Start->Run and type "regedit"

    delete keys:

    "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Grimoire"
    "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Blizzard Entertainment"

    now install WC3 and extract JNGPS!
    Merging the skins wouldn't help, i can optimize the skins, give me a percentage. the higher the percentage the better the quality but the higher the filesize.
    i see! i remember that i made "extra" JNGPS for ur L4D map with that bullet engine. this errors occured because you saved ur map with JNGPS(E), but trying to load with JNGPS. i had some problems with my PC so i lost that JNGPS(E). i hope u did not delete that JNGPS(E) which i made for u or lost it coz i dont have it anymore... anyway thats the reason why this errors have occured. i would like to help more but there is really nothing more i can do if you do not have JNGPS(E). ofc i mean that applies only to that map which was made in JNGPS(E). if you plan on making any other map then u should use default JNGPS or JNGP if its fine with you.

    JNGPS contains everything that works correctly in JNGP and some things that do not are fixed. some are removed ex. RTC is removed coz it does not work with current patch.

    map made in JNGPS can be opend (edited) in JNGP if it did not use new features added in JNGPS. however JNGPS does not cut off any necessary features from JNGP.

    you can have both JNGP and JNGPS on ur PC but make sure they are not in same folder (not to overwrite its own files) you can have folder Jass NewGen and Jass NewGen Special in ur WC3 folder but dont put JNGP and JNGPS in Jass NEwGen folder for example.

    yeah i know that bug! it is not only u but people who use GUI and JNGP have this issue. it was fixed in JNGPS through else there is no way to fix this as it requires to modify GUI and EGUI from JNGPS contained fix for that...

    JNGPS has different and safe handle id converter whole normal WE has whole mess of variables and functions...

    since i had to give to one guy JNGPS because his pc had some crash then i can give you the link as well if u want.

    just dl JNGPS, extract it in ur WC3 dir, run editor then in GUI make sure to call once "Custom Script: Enable EGUI" and enjoy the features.

    else there is no other way for GUI guys to do this in JNGP... ofc i can simply just inject EGUI in JNGP and then ull again have the fix but then its same as JNGPS since it has just even more fixes and all that...
