I don't know many people who critisize the section nowadays. the problem is, that when we look for support, then we have to accept only good people while there are many bad people with a lot of influence in the community. i wont name them now but they are really popular and get a lot of 'really nice 1000000/5 xDDDDD lol rofl mao' comments from numerous kiddies...

I mean, i have nothing against them and if they make a bad job they will resign after some time when people begin to get angry on them. also, nobody here really respects me, a lot of people even hate me for being very harsh because when an icon sucks I say it instead of saying it is good.
Also if I flame the staff once more, my chances to become a moderator will minimize within a few seconds.

I know you have quite some influence, try it if you want, but I don't think that it will work nor do I ask anybody to make me a moderator. That is just not the thing I would do. Promoting myself
I hope you become a mod, that would hopefully change some things.

Well, when the mods changed they didn't ask me because I caused some trouble a couple of time ago. I got enraged when I saw some really crappy icons with recommended rating and compared them to a recommended icon of mine. I just downloaded the wips and improved them, after that uploaded them to show what recommended means and what lacking means.
Well, I had to delete all of them and I think General Frank thought of a ban when I flamed the 'admin contact'-forum. In the end I apologized for myself and nothing happened.
The icon section hasn't really improved since then although I tried a lot of things to help people. But we have some promising new artists here in which I set a lot of hope. (bigapple, stanakin. oh, that's it already T.T)

haha. i think that you are freakin awesome, not i. well, paladon was kicked out of the stuff when it came out that he cnped most of his icons (dont think he is bad, after all, he is still the best icon mod we ever had).
after that zombie and oh_snap took over the job. snap was already pretty bad and not the right one for it, but zombie seemed ok. anyway, some of their ratings and decisions didnt quite please me and i had some trouble with the staff myself...
a couple of weeks ago zombie resigned. dunno why. and snap with him.

so now we got enjoy (not very good... her icons are meh) and pyra, who seems to be ok. and he is one of the favourites in the current phoenix trial poll.

and to answer your question: i think it has been 2-3 weeks now.

Haha, np m8 I just think you should wait using NewGen until patch 1.24 is out, and we know how it will affect stuff. Think we need to wait for the creators to make a new version :/

Saw you asked CW how he made that deep ground in his D3W map. He use a special WE called JassNewGen. It has an option with the raise/lower/platue tool.
