Last Saturday (June 26), there weren't many people at Blizzard's Headquarters in Irvine since it was a holiday weekend in the United States. However, Kam was generous and resourceful enough to get a slot in for a tour and to hang out.
The tour was amazing, there were hundreds of art pieces like statues, banners, and paintings all over. The library was full of hundreds of fantasy / sci-fi / etc books and games from all corners of the industry. The server "room" (off-limits to the camera) was an absolute battle-station. The cafeteria being full of TVs showing Twitch streams instead of cable channels was something really fun to see.
After the tour, it was all about extensive discussions about Warcraft 3 and the community for quite a while. Feedback, suggestions, and all that related stuff was discussed to, don't worry. After an extended session lasting 1.5 hours that felt ridiculously too short, I had to go. It was super fun, engaging, and insightful talking about the game with someone equally passionate in person. I left exceptionally excited for all the opportunities they had to offer, and I'm super happy for WC3 and the community moving forward (not that I wasn't already!).
I felt welcome and right at home. If anyone gets the chance, I'd recommend you visit them 100%.
EDIT: The sun was in my eyes during the picture with the Orc Warchief statue. Please don't berate me for this.
