      Do you have by any chance statistics about number of players/games per day?
      It would be very interesting to see how 1.30 affected player count.

        I have the data for the amount of games played, not the players. I would need to store the battle.net news info. I will look into improving the statistics if I can get the website running on 1.30.2.

      Hey, I have a question regarding how triggers work

      For some reason, the limited number of unit training trigger was bypassed. Basically the building can train how many units of that type I want. I think it might be related to the fact that if you use the trigger make unit unavailable and then available for player while before you limited the number of training, this weird thing happens. It does not happen with other units I've limited. However, the difference is that the units in question come from a building that becomes yours later on and the limiting of the training is run before the building changes owner to become the player's. The same if the building is created instead of changing ownership.
      It works if the training limiting triggers come after the building is under the player's control.

        I think that now triggers act more logically (or that's how I should call it?). Before, if a trigger where a hero took an item (variable) something started to happen when the trigger was turned on before the item was created and variable made. Now, the trigger works only if it is turned on after the item and variable are created.

        Or maybe it's just me being stupid. I need some confirmation.

      Hello TriggerHappy,
      regarding ur map Dark Lineage Owen 0.19 i wanted to ask you to fix 2 bugs:
      -sometimes after lvl up u dont get stats points, instead it says that i did something forbidden(new bug) (after doing something forbidden 3 times the backpack disappears)
      -Pandora stops selling stuff after u have sold her some items(very old bug)

      Btw did u increase drop rates?
      u wrote in ur updatelogs that u can save a second weapon in ur bag? i think that does not work.

        I think I only increased droprates for those playing on my hostbot. I'll look into the bugs, I know the recent patches made old save/load codes have wrong items as well.

        Probably not as the code is the base for my MMO project. I don't imagine anyone needing hacks for 1.28.5 and there are plenty of hacks already available for 1.26 (both versions my MMO supported).

      For a long while I've been aware of your truly excellent coding skills.

      I'm somewhat of an intermediate coder myself, who's stuck in the past. I'm still using JNGP 2.0.6 with Warcraft 1.2.6.
      I was wondering, what are the cutting edge tools pros such as yourself are making maps with?

      I have never used libraries, and I don't really have an idea what vjass or wurst are. Are these things worth investigating? Are there must-use libraries out there?

        Most people use vJass which is an extension to JASS that allows various features. You can read the manual here:

        Wurst is newer and has some interesting features, probably more than vJass, but it's not as popular. I would consider it to be designed better than vJass, and it can probably speed up development time even more once you understand the features, but it also abstracts the code if you don't know how it compiles. I am already so used to vJass that I know what it compiles to. The syntax is also significantly different than vanilla JASS or vJass.

        In terms of the editor, I generally use WEX (in tools section) for patch 1.28+.

        As for must-use libraries, not really. It depends on your map and preferences.
