      Did you ever release your AoS AI system? I'm currently working through a ground-up rewrite of the AI in Against the Darkness but I'm having some trouble creating a really intelligent flee/retreat system. I'm looking for systems that I can consult as a reference to improve my logic.

        No, I didn't release it. It's nothing special with retreating. It will simply order heroes to return if its HP is lower than certain amount.

        Got ya. Creating intelligent retreat actions is certainly difficult. There's not a "home" concept in my game either, which makes things doubly challenging.

      Hey i was wondering about patch 1.28 and above, as it seems they dont work with your map. Basicly becouse memory hack doesnt work. However https://www.hiveworkshop.com/threads/codeless-save-and-load-multiplayer-v1-3-8.278664/ seems to have his codeless save/load system working for 1.28 which would suggest there is a possibility your map could work for 1.28 to. Best of luck.

      After Reading a little bit on your profile i did notice youre having trouble with a legit wc3 copy. I would recommend buying a game code for bnet. When you can. Dont buy it from battlenet though you can get it for half that price x)

        The map is already working for any patch version, supposedly. As memory hack has been updated to support any patch version including unreleased ones. Codeless s/l doesn't use memory hack btw.

        Hehe.. thanks for the suggestion. I have no problem in paying 10 bucks tho. The only problem is getting the credit card, I'll have to wait a bit longer because of some reasons.

      Also, I am pretty sure (90%) that the problem is NOT within your code. I'm currently developing a map myself and when trying to play a WC3 map saved in the world editor of an older version of WC3 than what I am currently running there are a lot of funny issues. A fix would be to simply save the map in the newest version of the WEX editor while running the current patch. I saw in a message to SCN that you don't have a credit card yet? I'll gladly buy you the game, actually.

      Hey, why can't you patch up to 1.28? You said something about technical issues, and if it isn't because you don't have a legit WC3 copy, I could help. I feel that tons of people would like to try EmberCraft but can't play it.

        1.28 messed up the order IDs causing some maps to be unplayable or have more bugs, but 1.28.1 fixed all of them. Everything is back to normal, besides JNGP not being able to work on the new versions - but we have WEX now.

        When you click the hero button, does your gold increase or nothing happens at all?

        If nothing happens at all, then I'm afraid the it's because of it fails to detect "unit enters region" event. If that's the problem, well, there will be a lot of other problems in the map.

        I see. I don't know what's causing it tho. It's a simple hero picking mechanism commonly used in other maps too, like dota, bvo, etc. I'm sorry I'm helpless right now, I have a lot of problems in getting original copy of wc3 so I can't patch to 1.28 and check the problem myself.

        I don't know, I'm still using 1.27b myself. What version are you using?

        Creating a character is very simple tho, patch version shouldn't be a problem. The character selection is at the bottom-right corner btw, in case you don't see it.

      GetTerrainZ doesn't account correctly for water height, and the only way I know to do it causes severe lag over time (check ZLibrary in jass section). If you could figure something out that would be great. It affects your panel system and my UI library.

        Well, it breaks all custom missile based spells and systems have ever submitted in hive. Water level fucks things up, I never bother to fix it. But I will give it a shot this weekend.

        Tomorrow I have an exam so I can't test this idea:
        Try using amphibious (movement type) unit and put it on water, you can probably calculate the water depth by calculating UnitZ-TerrainZ. They said amphibious stays on water surface.

      Hey what was your desync from? I'm getting a desync in a specific location in the map that I'm making and I'm not sure what it is yet. I can't reproduce it in other maps. I was thinking it had something to do with lighting on models that locations weren't synced, but I don't think that's it.

        I think It was calling IsTerrainWalkable locally caused the desync, or maybe GetTerrainZ too.
        Well, async unit location doesn't desync for me so maybe that wasn't it
