      I just tested it and yeah; that's what I meant.

      This isn't about me. I'm not asking for a rulechange for my personal entertainment; I'm asking this because it's reasonable. We reject unit models with unused geosets or missing animations after all. All I was asking for was applying the same standard to sfx and attachment models.

      But it's literally just about hiding a geoset or material. If it does that, it's working.

      Basicly, just setting the alpha of all materials and particle/ribbon emitters to "0" on the starting and ending frame of the death animation is enough.

      Huh? This is not "my way" or anything; you can test this easily by just creating a special effect on the unit, then instantly destroy the effect.

      Also, any attachment model where the model disappears when selecting the "death" animation in Magos is fine. There is no need to test that ingame.

      Just use special effects instead of a dummy ability and the effects will linger.

      Huh. I guess at this point I don't remember exactly what I coded into 'rebuild as global sequence', I just thought it wasn't right.

      The righty-to-lefty is simple once you get it figured out, but fairly unclear in terms of what to do. It is embedded inside Tools -> Mirror - Mirror X. Normally this feature only reverses selected meshes/geosets (which would totally ruin their links to the bones and stuff), but if you go to the View Controller window that opens when the program starts, click the purple box at the top of it, and toggle on the Show pivot points option, it lets you select and move bones along with the mesh.

      When you mirror having both the bones and mesh selected, it will not only flip both of their positions across the mirror but also flip their animations. It's really nifty if you figure it out, but it really should be documented more clearly.

      Right now, my idea is like how Gul'dan's staff faded in the HFC end cinematic, but I don't think I could do that, but do you think it's possible?

      Hey Misha, I was reading some people commenting about the Matrix Eater and was reminded of something. After you visitor messaged me last fall, I got about halfway through writing a documentation on the Matrix Eater with the idea that when I finished I could upload it as a tool.

      Recently, I'm troubled by the fact that the Matrix Eater does not work on my own new computer, but when I get that sort of problem resolved, do you think this documentation from last fall would be a good help doc on the Matrix Eater? I seem to recall it was not finished, but I have not finished going back through it myself yet.
