      Credits must be given to the creator of the resource, not the place where the resource was downloaded from.

      Look more closely.

      1) Does the map have a credits list?
      Yes. -> Good.

      2) Does the credit list contain credits for ANY of the models?
      No. -> Map contains stolen resources and violates hive rules.

      The Hive Workshop rules clearly state that maps may not contain uncredited material.

      Kitabatake, I have check the map you reported. It seems like it does contain credit list which naturally mean he did not violate any rules, is just that he did not mention all those name.

      If you want him to name each of the modeler, I suggest you to tell him instead.

      There is 1 thing you forgot to add to your anti-cheat system.

      You forgot to add turn on nodefeat trigger for greedisgood trigger, which gradually enable user to use that cheat once they active strengthandhonor.

      Wow great work. Everything you make is good.
      But i have a question. In your anti cheat system you are "making" a critical error...

      How?
    12. Septimus
      Septimus
      haha.. make sense.. we did't use mana..

      @Septimus: yes, I have replaced "mana" with "energy" because you don't need magical powers to swing a sword.

      And sorry, but I'm busy with my own projects at the moment.

      @kaercher: sure, go ahead.

      Can I use the fire slash in my map with some modifications?

      Did the energy you mean is refer to mana ?

      I have play several map with such a similiar function, but I cannot recall their name. I would tell you if I remember some of it.

      Ow, if you ain't busy.. I would like you to make some cool model for my campaign, currently my campaign was coming to halt cause the lack of model, terrainner and loading screen (World map)

      @Septimus: I just tested that Jedi Arena game and it does have a slightly similar system, although very different...

      In my system attacks don't have 3 sec cooldowns. Instead, you can swing your sword continuously as long as you have energy left. Also, my system focuses on the actual swordfight instead of casting spells.

      And yes, I remember playing that Uther party minigame but all it really had was the attack ability.

      Do you know any other games that use similar systems?

      @ikillforeyou: I use magos model editor (aka war3modeleditor) and oinkerwinkles vertex modify

    18. Septimus

      it probably similiar but not quite as the 1 you mention.

      Jedi Arena v1.8 - The Hive Workshop - A Warcraft III Modding Site

      I have even seen uther party having such a familiar function.

      @RaidonGod: Thanks!

      @Septimus: Hmm? Could you give me a link to one?
      I haven't seen anyone doing a similar system.

      Septimus
      Eh.. kita, ain't a lot of people already design such a system ?

    Started map making with the Age of Empires II editor. Those who are familiar with that editor should not find it hard to know where my username originates from.

    I switched over to making maps for Warcraft III at around ~2003.
    As I didn't have an internet connection at the time, I learned GUI triggering with only experimenting, trial and error.
    (That is also the reason why I never switched over to using JASS. I'm too lazy to learn to do stuff I already know, only to do the exact same functionality with a different method.)

    Later on, after getting an actual internet connection, I discovered wc3sear.ch and joined it after lurking the site for nearly a year or so.

    Eventually, I got eager to expand my skills to model editing and I started out with simple stuff using Magos' War3 Model Editor and Oinkerwinkle's Vertex Modify.

    At some point wc3sear.ch went heavily over it's quota and died. All data and users were transferred over to Hiveworkshop, so here I am.
