Feeling burnt out on Warcraft, so I've taken up D&D as a Dungeonmaster on roll20 - made ~110 assets so far.

Really bummed about Blizzard's EULA :(

A while ago I got into hot water for using ripped textures from WotR: I'd double the resolution and re-draw them to fit Warcraft 3, but because the file started off as a rip, the Hive Staff decided I was a villain.

It wasn't the first time the staff came after me, but the language they used made it clear that they see the modelers and creators like dirt; so I said I was going to take down all of my models and move to Warcraft Underground.

Ralle (God bless him) stepped in, got some talks going on, and over a few weeks or a month, the older vague rules were updated and new ones put in place to allow me to stay and model.

Then "Reforged" hit and destroyed everything with it's EULA from Hell :D

I had similar story. Long time ago, i made models-pack to mount and blade based on heroes5 textures for modellers, but admins crush my beginnings, now it deleted, and its my mistake.

I made it initially to make models in exchange for money to help my Grandma with her food, medicine, gas, and bills; but she passed away now.
Now that I'm sort of in debt for taking care of her, it's still up to help me get back on stable ground.

One thing that's very nice about Mongolian/Tartar models is the armour is very simple to make in 3D, so that's a mercy :D

Team gunners: Most likely not, I'm currently working on a model with 30+ animated guys and it's giving me PTST x_x

French units: Absolutely, I just need to find the time to do the texture-work and do some research on the weapons, or find someone who is already familiar and can give me a list or photographs

Makes sense, I'm only doing honor until cloak, not gonna bother grinding for Exalted Champion of Rivendell. heard that during and after the gondor update, armor is too much grind these days. I occasionally decide to not cap out my LIs using my past LI heritage stone, but then again I am just starting out on Riders of Rohan

Gearing is most certainly a poorly explained pain in the ass once you get to Mordor - common quests simply stop giving you gear, and Epic Quests only award green gear (wtf) forcing you to bust nuts to craft it, grind the currency which becomes useless the moment you hit 120, or get carried by your Kin through it until you get to Northern Mirkwood
