Reputation (+1): (Post) More power to Modders who make their originally non-English maps available in English, although my native language isn't English. It's a big relieve of hassles if it has English versions. Love you guys!
Here is a good tutorial on it!
Usually people will add the screenshots to their album (don't forget to make the album public, or else users won't be able to see them!). Then you just get the links to the images in those tabs, and put them in
tags. To get the links from images in your album, you can just right-click and "Copy Image URL" (if you have chrome). If you have a different browser, it should be something similar to that. Let me know if you need more info!
Also, usually people will use the forums to "test" how their layout looks. The resource sections don't have a "preview" feature. To "preview" how it would look, you can usually just go to the forums and click "add reply", mess around with your layout, and preview there. When you are finished, just copy that over to the maps section description.
Yeah it has a pretty bad delay in multiplayer. For maps that require using the keyboard a lot, it is pretty frustrating (over LAN it is decent, but over battle.net it can get pretty bad). It might be okay for things like the camera, but it might be annoying for movement. It won't cause any delays though, it just takes a while for the client to realize that the key is down. So if you press down a key, it will take usually about 0.1-0.5 seconds to actually fire the event (it varies depending on latency, because it has to take the local keybaord action and sync it with all clients).
I cannot move it to the spells section because the spells section requires some extra things (e.g. a screenshot, and the test map, etc.). In general, I can't move forum threads to the resource forums. Although, once you submit it to the spells section, I can close the old one (or delete it) for you if you'd like.
I can move it for you. But in my opinion, you should submit it to the Spells section instead. Usually the JASS submissions are for scripts to use in other scripts. So I think you should just make a submission to the spells section.
