      Well, they were named moderators for the two player forums, but went inactive shortly after. I haven't seen much of them since, but it's really no big problem, we don't have that much traffic on the forum that I couldn't handle it alone.

      I can't say I haven't thought about it, but it's such tremendous work. Even implenting a second player and ~10 systems into an already finished map takes me a month at least, although I do blame Blizzard's incosistent triggering. Of course, the most time is spent on refining the AI and difficulty with a dozen playtests.
      I don't know what quality I could achieve, I would need a great storyline and interesting gameplay already figured out to even consider going into creating a whole campaign.

      EDIT: I really like the Dam in your Battle for Magic map.
      In the terrain gallery, well, winter has a special place in my heart, so I'd say my favourite one's Frozen Shrine.
      The others are really great too, expect for perhaps the Infinite City. I did watch that series, btw. I think the lightning and shadows are a bit off in your picture and because you only show two rows of columns and most of your picture is filled by things in the front, you can't see further into the city and you don't get the infinity feel.

      I'm working on something of that sort, albeit not for the 2 player campaign, but "The Drums in the Dungeon" contest. It's just that I'm not really great at keeping deadlines, as you may have already noticed. :D

      I did think about making a custom chapter, but the fact that Illidan flees alone through the Portal makes it quite difficult to put a challange in Maiev's way. The elves and naga only follow him there later and all demons and orc are under Magtheridon's command, only overthrown at the end of CotBE. The only thing that IS mentioned is that Illidan promised the Dreanei to rid Dreanor of the orcs, but I don't think the Dreanei would throw their lives away by the hundreds because one demon promised them something.

      Give Frostmourne a try on Insane, I'm pretty sure you'll find it easy. By the way, I am getting something wrong here or are you saying you play TheSpoon's maps on Normal and mine on Insane? o0

      I haven't played that one in a long while, but I'd say Taurens, Shamans, Witch Doctors, micro. Pulverize decimates low tier units, Bloodlust helps proc it quicker, Healing Ward is ... well, Healing Ward. Chaos Orcs lack high tier units, such as Tauren and don't use Troll units, which means no Healing Ward for them.

      I don't know if TheSpoon will ever release Orc 8, but he always makes the insane AI for a last map of a campaign a bit too weak for my liking. (Like the whole Frostmourne fiasco, where that map was so great we played it 10+ times, and then someone started whining about how hard it is, so TheSpoon removed Disease Cloud - this allows you to have Heal on autocast and therefore you don't have to manage your Priests' mana pool - and removed tier 3 caster upgrades for Necromancers and Banshees - which means no Possession or Cripple - making the difficulty lacking in my opinion.)

      Well, it's really only three Workers, two Archers and a Sorceress and a Priest for each player. Of course, it really does matter when you first assault the undead bases. But of course, those who don't try to save those units are probably not playing Insane, don't you think?

      Well I suggested to TheSpoon that he should also implent this Scroll change, but he's very inactive lately. :( Still, this Scroll change will be implented into all Sentinel maps and anything else I'll release.
      And this map, Alliance 2, will be one of those maps where your forces are too far away to make it to a base to defend it, so I'll think you'll find this change makes things a bit easier.

      Oh, by the way, I'm implenting a little change that will allow you to defend multiple bases easily. First of all, Scroll of Town Portal will now transport allied units as opposed to only your own and secondly, its cost is reduced from 350 to 150.

      As for Insane, it has not been playtested much, but currently: Dalvengyr has Mask of Death (+50% lifesteal) and Negation and Silence and two ultimates - Inferno and Locust Swarm. In addition, when your four outer bases get overwhelmed and each gets replaced by an undead base, on Insane, each of these four bases have a Dreadlord of their own. The bases closer to you are the ones that you're supposed to retake first, these two bases have a level 5 Dreadlord each, but they have Soul Burn instead of Sleep. The bases farther from you have only one mine, therefore retaking them can often cost more than it will yield and they also have a level 8 Dreadlord each, once again, with Sleep replaced by Soul Burn.

      In addition to this, all the usual insane stuff is applied, such as, the attack waves of each AI is more powerful and all enemy forces start with all available upgrades researched.

      No, the naga units will be under each player's control.
      The second player starts with no hero on the map. When the outer bases gets overwhelmed and Kael accepts Vashj's help, the second player gains control of Vashj, 2 Myrmidons and 1 Siren and - if playing on Normal - 1 Royal Guard.
      In addition, the first player gains control of 2 Myrmidons and 1 Siren and - on Normal - 1 Royal Guard.
      This means that in total, you'll have 4 Myrmidons and 2 Sirens and Vashj. (And 2 Royal Guards if on Normal) That's all the Naga units you'll ever get to control (on this map), but they don't use food, so if you can keep them alive, you can have a more powerful army.

      Well, then I'll have to disappoint you. You do get Vashj and some free Naga units - 2-2 Myrmidon, 1-1 Siren on Insane and an additional 1-1 Royal Guard on Normal. By free I mean that you don't have to pay for them and they don't take up any food.

      I really don't want to deviate from the original map by allowing the production of Naga units.

      And I'll have to remind you, you played a beta map of Alliance 1, I haven't even released Sentinel 8. You'll have to be patient, I really hope that by now you know I really go for quality over quantity.

      Well, that could cause further problem, as you'll always start on level 3 on Alliance 2.
      If you have Flame Strike (2), Banish (2), you'll lose the last level of Banish. If you have Flame Strike (2), Banish (1), Siphon Mana (1), you won't have Siphon Mana. That would be the case if the previos bug wasn't in there, which downgrades your ability level by one and gives free skill points. You'll most likely start with either Flame Strike (1), as I'm assuming you don't favour Banish or Siphon over Flame Stikre, or Flame Stike (1), Banish (1).

      Still, it might be for the best if you just replayed it when I'm done with it. It's not that very long of a map.

      Hey, I just wanted to let you know really quickly that regarding the load code you got from Alliance 1 Beta, it has a minor bug when loaded into Alliance 2, that is, it will put your skills to any level you have it on minus one. So if you had a Flame Strike - level 2 and Banish - level 1, you'll start with Flame Strike - level 1 and no Banish. However, you will get the correct amount of unspent skill points, so it's really only a minor inconvinience and I'll not disable your code because of this. Your items will be loaded properly.

      This bug was in the meantime fixed, so if you do decide to play Alliance 1 again when it's properly released and use a code you get from there, this bug will not happen.
