thanks i am glade you like vGUI but note that vGUI is actually designed to be used in campaigns where size is not the problem since you need to import script only once in campaign as i said only bad thing currently is that it needs something about 600KB in your map but all in all thanks and enjoy!
fair do's, im still gna be a while with the map, got like 30 abilities to do or something crazy like that, and thats only spells, also got about 20 samurai/ninja abilities, about 15 items and their corresponding abilities too. Gotta trigger the shogun's and their guards, townspeople etc. And most of the gameplay related triggering lol. id say im quite a ways off ^^
i would say make the background colours relate to the elements, eg fire red, water blue, air... erm.. gray? dno.. lol, earth brown or green, probably a brownish colour as you added that green glow around the edge, and green background would ruin that.
if you do it corner style, on the yin-yang ones could have it so that for example on fire+water that the fire side of the yin-yang has two blue corner glows, and the water side has two red ones, so the backgrouns like back-to-front
the fire ones really good dw about how long it takes, id rather they was good and took longer ^^ and besides the maps still gna take a while hehe. although i would say again, add a faint glow in the background just to take away from the pitch black. id +rep if i could atm
wow thats genuinely awesome, really like the kinda misty effect too +rep
dont know about making it "better" cos its already great, only thing i can think of is maybe add like a faint blueish glow in the background, just to remove the solid black behind it
