The name of this place, the Gequälter Fjord, sounds very sad and, perhaps, a little frightening: according to an ancient legend of one of the peoples living here, a warrior sacrificed himself in a battle with a petrified Titan with the help of an enchanted sword - he threw the brave man into the rocks, and his sword seemed to accumulate the power of these throws. In the end, the sword that pierced the Titan turned his own power against him - and an earthquake occurred, creating new mountains and rivers, and traces of a terrible battle remained on the rocks themselves. Who knows how it all really happened... However, one cannot help but note the picturesque waterfalls (in fact, now they are called the Valley of Waterfalls), so incredibly beautifully decorating the Fjord
