Same one
Dude, I am a drummer, that much is pointless, maybe two full sets of toms, and 5 symbols, then a double, or quad bass pedal, and you are good.

Dude, I am a drummer too, and you obviously know NOTHING about music if you think having more toms is useless, can't spell cymbal, and suggest things like "quad bass pedal"s.

I have to say, this is fucking awesome, but midnighters has a point (kindof). It matters what rythyms you use, and how intense you want to make your fills/solos. My teacher has a golden record, and has played a gig every week of his life, and his kit is worse than mine. He still manages to make it sound like pure sex. However, having a super legit set like this, 64 fucking pieces (the things I'd do for that set), means you have options. not only do you have a xylophone, you have a whole 2 octaves (it looks like 2) of toms, and probably like 20 different high hats and cymbals comined.

@Midnighters, you don't really understand what it's like to be a drummer if you don't like pimping out your drum set.

@Cokemonkey, this whole album is freaking awesome. Did you get to kick the unreleased B.O.A.? How did you get the private tour? Please tell me they let you play the 64 peice. I have so much respect for you right now just for posting these pictures up.

There was no drum kit set up with the BOA, but I got to touch it get a feel for it. Basically it's nothing special, just a lightweight, smooth, quiet pedal with an interesting kick feel. They're not unreleased anymore, and in fact they're labeled under Pacific now.

I got the private tour because a family friend of mine has a son who used to work there. Everyone at DW is way cool and I actually have another friend whose dad works there as a manager. I can't say for sure, but if you visit the warehouse/facility in Ventura County, California, they'll probably let you take a look around, assuming they're not too busy.

The 64 piece is actually one of Terry Bozzio's kits - http://www.gearslutz.com/board/atta...ozzios-live-drum-mic-setup-kitterrybozzio.jpg

He has a few identical kits that he leaves set up in various places for when he visits to practice/play. DW set him up his own private room for this kit. The guy I know told me I could play it, so I struck a few toms and tested the pedals but I was too nervous to really play for real.

Lol. I just saw that the date of posting was 2008. Anyways Terry's kit is raw. You shoulda just wailed on it bro.

I know I know.. he doesn't even use the one in the picture for studio or live.. It's literally just for him to practice on.
