Plot

Having heard that the Undead are marching towards their lands, The King of Silver Keep ordered his most trusted members of the council to raise an army and crush the incoming darkness.
Vargas, Aneurin and Juno lead the army and and immediately set out to accomplish their mission.

Several days later, Their army engaged the Undead; many of their soldiers were slain but nevertheless, they succeeded.
They treated the wounded, buried the deceased and after a few days, marched back towards Silver Keep.
Their victory was short-lived; upon their arrival, Undead were swarming the castle. The three heroes, along with few of their men, charges toward the Blight.

I am marking this as my second project, but be reminded that I will be more active in Heroes Tale.

And here are new screenies showing a Mini Boss and also the new Library which is for me wider and better but please do remember its still in WiP.

Just realized and make some discussion with BreathingAcid and a special guest, UndeadImmortal and I do think it will look bad when raised and is better if flat because I do know manmade tiles are meant to be flat and not raised except raised through blizzard cliffs or adding levels that is, they will look fine.

Well raise the grass areas, shown in some of the screenshots slightly, since it is not on man-made tiles.

Yeah, I know. :/ Anyway, I'll upload other screenies later on.

Changed the rain to green fog. Added barricades, tents, scorched towers, more corpses, burning stuff. Added enemy units.

Nice job, BreathingAcid, mind giving me the signature link but much better, the BB Code for it, thanks! :cgrin:

So guys, we have here the official signature for this project, just look into the the first post by me and there is the link and will be doing some changes on how progress will be written.

Everybody is free to wear the signature for this will show much support to the project itself.

Nah, there will be little emphasis on the area outside the castle. It will be played for a very short time, so there wouldn't be any need of custom tree models. :) But thanks.

Well that is a little better than the last one but I would love if you will show us a farther screenshot of the terrain than those current screenshots you're giving us so we can check the terrain better.

The areas are actually divided into sections via boundaries so they look ugly at farther distances (you will see map edges and other things that shouldn't be there).
These sections are also small so I made the units tiny.
I also applied a camera system in-game so that it gives the illusion that the areas are actually big.
Anyway, I'll just post screenies with no camera angles soon.

Sometimes juggling multiple projects can be a bitch so sticking to one and coming back to the other is probably the smart thing to do. c:

I'm looking forward to seeing some progress with this lol it looks pretty darn cool. :p

Its looks too simple for me but I think that is what you guys are trying to achieve. But here is a simple suggestion that can help you on that terrain.

Grab all this default models:

Dalaran:
Arc
Column semi-circle
Column double
Column single
Statue
And all the Walls

Then remove the pathing
Scale them to whatever you see fitting
And I think tinting them to something:

R: 130-150
G: 120-130
B: 100-120

will fit the environment

After that you can start doing some cool stuffs without even importing a shit.
