Ok, I think I managed to make it open in Magos. Convert it to MDL, then convert the MDL into MDX(using MDLX Converter, you can dl it here), this way you can open it. Now, I checked it in Magos and:

1) The decay flesh animation is pretty bad, he only lies there instead of sinking slowly into the ground
2) The whole model is visible in Decay Bone, aka there are no geoset animations
3) The team color is really bad: First of all, you don't have to make ALL of the yellow\brown stuff TC, only some, like the ones on his chest, will be good enough. Secondly, when you make Teamcolor, you have to fill the parts you team-colored in black, otherwise it looks horribly bad.

What bathers me is that I can see the model with no problems and errors in the "Warcraft 3 Viewer v2.3c" so I thought it would do the trick but now when I try to import it in the WC3 World Editor ... nothing shows ( yes it does, a green box )

So I'm kinda imberassed that I did not test that before I released it :( sorry guys I will try to fix it today...

some progress...

Well, not so good, I lost it somewhere, I redid the tutorial from the official Art tools, zip, nada, didn't work...
I took the grunt which is included, tried this one aswell, without even changing anything on the model exported it fine, no errors, even saw the model animated in the WC3 Previewer just like it did with my golem model...

but when I then try to import this into the World Editor ... nothing, did anyone actually succeed in importing it in the World Editor ????

Incredible looking model, if you really did make this, i cant wait to see what you come up with in the future. The only problem is that the model wont work ingame or in magos in it's current state, i dont know if it was an incredibly terrible exporter script or what, but right now it has an unknown tag in the code. So, do what debode said, convert it to mdl then back to mdx using mdlx converter, and not only will your model work in magos and ingame but when i did it, it reduced your model's size from 260kb to 113kb... which is kickass.

As for the teamcolor, i personally love the idea. but there is not much difference between brown and black. maybe make that part a bit more gray (reduce saturation).

Great model. 5/5 once you fix that main problem

OK !! I changed the model to the suggestions of the posters here.
I even tested it ingame so that works aswell ( that is why I changed the screenshot to proove that it works ;D )

Anyway, after some blood and tears...

I hope the changes please everyone and have fun

Thanks again debode for helping me out.

How about making a second model using only ingame textures :D

I do not like the textures from WC3 anymore, not since I have seen those of WoW, cause they are about the same size but the space on the texture is surely better used and clearer than those from WC3.

And it is a pain to look at all the textures from WC3 to have a fitting one for my model, in that time, the texture was hand drawn, and better ;p
and uniquely mine 8-D
