Zones of Conflict - Theramore 1.0

Theramore 1.1 will soon be released with balancing fixes, spell changes etc.

This is a pvp only map because it has no AI

for people who are lazy to read the real description then here is a shorter and more basic description

The map is 2v2, Alliance dont use gold mines or lumber, they gain gold from the citadel and there guard tower. Horde are more basic and use lumber and gold. (thats all you nead to know to play the map)

Description

Many Years have the Alliance plagued the horde of Dustwallow Marsh, raiding there villages, burning there homes and reducing there farms to dust, But Thrall had enough of this massacre. Huge forces of the horde are marching to Dustwallow Marsh to remove the Alliance from that region once and for all. Still the Alliance aren't week either, huge battle ships have been sent to Theramore and large Armies of Men to destroy the Horde Threat. Now at this Zone of Conflict, either one of the Alliance's most trusted allies will be destroyed or Dustwallow will be cleared from the Horde forever...

Map Features
This map allows you to build HUGE armies of units, the combat style has mostly been changed now the units got much less health and is now more realistic to real life, one unit cannot be chopped by an axe like 10 times like in normal wc3.

Food costs of units have been seriously reduced, some to even 0 (Like Footman, Grunt). Ships are also available in this map allowing you to create sea battles, with an all new Alliance ship, the Goliath.

The map is 2v2 and is split into 2 locations, Dustwallow marsh and Theramore isle, the 2 alliance players are placed at Theramore Isle within its mighty walls, which is accessible only through the back pathway leading from the Shipyard, and the main Gate whitch got a lot less walkable space.

The Horde have full control over Dustwallow marsh with Invisible Eye units all around the location. The pathing of doodads in Dustwallow marsh such as skulls has been removed to give more space for battle (The pathing of trees was not removed). The health of tree's in Dustwallow is not much greater because of location to place tree's shortage.

There are 3 Towers placed in Dustwallow marsh, that give gold and lumber to the owner(Alliance will nead to capture these to be able to repair there buildings), these towers are capturable by damaging them till they reach a certain amount of health, then they swap owners, to the attacking player. Hero's have bean removed from the game because that could cause some problems to the strategy style of the map.

The Alliance
The Alliance got some new unique features, Which caused some upgrades to be removed, Alliance don't need to use gold mine anymore, and the need for lumber got completely removed for Ally, which increased gold cost of units more then the horde.

Alliance gain gold from there main Tower, The Citadel and if destroyed will cause defeat for Alliance, they also gain gold from a guard tower at the borders of Theramore which could be destroyed by the horde without cause defeat for Alliance.

The Ally are the ones that get a huge amount of resources in quick time and could build huge armies in short time. The Ally got the advantage of being close to each other, which allows them to help out each other in conflict with ease.

The Horde
Horde are more basic then ally and still use gold mines and lumber but need to pay more for there units which are decently stronger then Ally units (Since Ally units just keep on coming) since horde need more resources for there units and may sometimes run out of gold or lumber.

There are 7 ways Horde Melee units could reach Theramore, 5 of those ways are shallow water pathways, the sixth way is by using orc transports, buyable in the shipyard, the last way to get to Theramore for the Horde is by using Zeppelins, which is a new horde unit.

Horde also get another new unit which is the Goblin Shredder, it helps them gain lumber by a huge amount. The horde are a bit more far away from each other though but can have viability over Dustwallow so they could prepare before the fight has begun.
Plz, do not modify this without my permission

Well, first of all, your description is not a description. It's a Spaceless Wall of Text. Also, you can improve it with BBCodes. You can find a complete list of them in my sig (The BBCodes Link).

Don't use such a small font for long text and remember to separate it with paragraph, it is highly annoying just to try to read it. Infact, it discourage people to read it and try your map.

This is as difficult as trying to read a code without indenting.

the font aint that small maybe its because of your eyes.
back on topic: i played this map with my cousin and i really had fun so its a good map to play with other people

Yup. Maybe just your browser setting Sept.

Still, Septimus is right. Your description has nearly no indent. >_>
My eyes kinda squinted.

I think what Septimus actually meant is to add some spaces on your description.

For example:
"The Alliance got some new unique features, Which caused some upgrades to be removed, Alliance don't need to use gold mine anymore, and the need for lumber got completely removed for Ally, which increased gold cost of units more then the horde.

The Ally got the advantage of being close to each other, which allows them to help out each other in conflict with ease."

is better and more readable than:
"The Alliance got some new unique features, Which caused some upgrades to be removed, Alliance don't need to use gold mine anymore, and the need for lumber got completely removed for Ally, which increased gold cost of units more then the horde. Alliance gain gold from there main Tower, The Citadel and if destroyed will cause defeat for Alliance, they also gain gold from a guard tower at the borders of Theramore which could be destroyed by the horde without cause defeat for Alliance. Oh, and I noticed that your English still lacks at some point. I don't bother to fix them now, though.
