Hero reworks:
Angel, Templar and Raven have all been completely revamped, with a set of new spells at their disposal.
New spells:
Almost every hero has received a new spell.
New reward:
Defeating the Shadow Dragons will give the defenders access to Gnome/Goblin turrets.
Polishing:
Spell tooltips have received a cleaner look, the quest log has been revamped, etc.
Bug fixes:
Several existing spells, as well as general pathing and AI bug have been fixed.

Heroes
'Angel':
His 4 spells have been replaced with a new set of custom spells, showcased in the video above.
'Templar':
His 4 spells have been replaced with a new set of custom spells, showcased in the video above.
'Wizard':
She has received a new custom spell 'Iceburst'.
'Monk':
He has received a new ultimate spell 'Holy Shockwave'.
'Ranger':
She has received a new custom spell 'Fire Darts'.

'Shatterer':
He has a new ultimate spell 'Boulder Roll'.
'Raven':

'Shadow Dragons':
They have received a new skill and have been buffed.
'Turrets':
Defeating the Dragons now grants the Castle access to either Gnome or Goblin turrets.

A skull now indicates the spawn areas of the enemy.
Several heroes have received a new model, icon and name.
Every hero now has an actual name, besides their title.
The Quest Log has been cleaned up.
A quest is now created whenever an event starts.
Friendly attacks are now allowed.
The Damage Detection system has been removed.
Several memory leaks have been removed.
The intro has been shortened.
The map has been renamed from 'Wrath of Kael' to 'Wrath'.
The map's file size has been slightly reduced.
Castle defenders, as well as enemy units have all been buffed.
The number of defenders and attackers has been reduced.
A new death message has been added.
Spell tooltips have been revamped with a cleaner look.
Missing unit portraits have finally been fixed.
Hero attributes have been changed.
The mana regeneration rate of every hero has been increased.
Castle Mages & Priests now grant a mana regeneration aura.
An unused area at the bottom of the map has been removed.
The hero selector has a new model and is now automatically selected.
Several unit shadow images have been adjusted.
The gates now have 7500HP. (before 15.000)
Game messages have been recolored and rendered easier on the eyes.
Hero 'Phoenix' has been renamed to 'Spark' and is no longer a flying unit.
The Queen's max. HP is now also shown in the multiboard.
The Queen has a new model.
Hero 'Giant' has received a new model and icon.
Hero 'Giant' has been renamed to 'Shatterer'.

The revival time of heroes has been drastically reduced.

Final comment:

Polishing this 6 year-old map of mine took a while, so I would really appreciate some feedback.
I plan on releasing more updates, with the main goal of remaking the spawn system which is the main feature slowing down the game.

I don't want to seem ignorant, but judging by the -preview- YouTube video, this is just another basic hero / castle defense map that we've all seen before. However, I'm not that ignorant as to say it's not approval-worthy.
I can see you took your time making it, nice skins / models , even though the spells are the most blandest you could ever find in a W3 map.
Again : I haven't played the map, but my opinion as an average member that sees your screen-shots and YouTube video = not that impressive.

1-11 Originality *9* while this map has unique aspects, it's main concept has been done on occasion.
1-11 Replayability *9* It's fairly fun, and decently balanced leaving a lot of room for playability
1-11 Terraining *7* Needs more doodads in the battlefield.
1-11 Object Managing *6* While the item tooltips were adequate, I was very annoyed at the ability tool tips. Especially when learning an ability. I had no idea how much damage I was going to be able to do or with what range.
1-11 Spells *10* Bugfree and a lot were original
1-11 Description *12?* Epic
1-17 Engaging *17* It was fairly engaging, with lots of random events thrown in.
1-17 Misc *17* Everything here was perfect.
-100 or 100 Rules *100* :grin:
0-200 All-in-all *187* B+ (Good but still not reaching full potential vote for approval and +rep was given)

Author's Note,

This map was great, I liked the concept and execution. I did however note bugs, as well as a few dislikes. These are fairly common dislikes in my opinion, you could easily get an A for this map.
Bugs:
Amulet of glory has annoying "1" in icon
I can control a shop ? and tell it to build me a lumber mill. ??
The shop is female villager model, yet has male voice.



Recommendations:
Add more height variation in battlefield.
Add more doodads in battlefield.
Fix the bugs.

Well, there is simply too much to say about what I like.


[Didn't like]
Tooltips for abilities were inadequate.
Terrain in battlefield was ehh...

Pardon if its been said.

I'm testing as we speak, and all it seems you've done is taken your other defense map, reskinned the enemy (Which are still hillariously named Undead), changed the boss name, and repackaged it as a new map.

This map is interesting. You should fix the spell descriptions to look more readable. You should make the battlefield more realistic. Enemy units attack as if they came to their deaths. They should come more organized say in battalions. The gate should only be destroyed by siege type units not by any infantry or archer (imagine how long it would take in real life to do something like that). Place the vendors farther than the hero choosing region.

I like the idea it's kind of like a battle in the game Rome Total War.

I played your other castle defense maps and they were quite good. I'm just posting to mention that at the very end of your map description you wrote "Defense of Argur" twice. Anyway, I'll possibly try this with a few friends later if they're in the mood for castle defense.

Oh so you don't see anything new than just the different race? Oh and they serve the Undead <.< You may not have noticed that when playing the first part of my castle defense map.

Don't get me wrong man, I'm not bashing you or anything, I see that there are new heroes, units and such, but it seems like.. You could have just updated the other map.

Damn dude, can you work on your map for week or more and then upload 3.0 version or just 2.4!

It will be hard to play it online, you upload map 2 times per day, grr I don't play it online for example 3 days, and I need to dl it again!

This is my opinion, you can work on map, create versions and then just upload 3.0, 4.0 etc etc (and create hidden tag with versions between (3.0 to 4.0, change log + version link)) :razz:

So are you go and upload new version soon or should I test this one now :ahug:

But pathing ground is horrible :D

Battle ground is still empty, few rocks, shrubs, plants in general won't hurt :razz:

Gameplay look ok, but you need few game modes, like, All Random, All Pick!

You can hit "ESC" key to open help panel!
Now create few command buttons about Hero selection, items to buy, game mode etc etc!

Oh I will create LS and MPI for ya :razz:

Dude, srsly, don't rage, not cool! (Mapname) :D But i'll give this a try tomoz, as i've got my laptop in the car all day :p
 
Well 3/5 will be mark (at least in my eyes), you still need to fix memory leaks (well some) and fix some triggers!
Then come empty terrain on some places! Hints, quests, special events etc etc!
Also we can't forgot modes or game commands :razz:
Fixing the triggers will take some time since the triggers were made long time ago xD
Game modes will be added, as well as game commands etc.

Whoa, that's not exactly good news...those old triggers are a no-no. There's nothing wrong with them if they worked then, but old triggers have this nag for leaking... either way, there's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said for far, but I'd just like to express a personal note : You concentrate on adding a lot of skins / models and other aesthetics into the game, but you're completely ignoring the terrain... it causes eye-bleeds... when the new version comes out, please try to focus on this aspect too, okay ? Thank you.

havnt tried the newest version yet but great map with great heroes and everything!

edit: tried the newest version... u added a lot of stuff but now sometimes people dont respawn
also we ended up with so many enemies they stopped moving and ranged heroes could kill most of them easily
also can we buy tomes? its hard to get rid of all the money u end up with cuz the pots arent that good

I was wondering why you tell people to play it instead of to refer to the descriptions alone, the game has awesome terrain, nice system. You spend a lot of effort on the game instead of the hero!

When I saw the description, I thought you need more work, anyway I will say that this map needs improvement but it is good to be played. Definitely worth an approve.

I played a knight hero called Templar, he was a moderate aoe and single target hero.
This game called Wrath of Kael has a lot of potential, hearing it isn't enough, you need to play it to experience it. When I select my hero and go out, I was having a hard time finding all the teleporters. Wrath of Kael is a game that players defend the castle until the timer runs out. Overtime, there will be swordsman launched into the castle to complete a sneak attack from kael. You objective is to kill kael after he had decided to come in and wack some ass, that is to enter the gates after the timer. I think it was fun for a few minutes until I had a bug and had to use -debug.
Well I will say till here for now, you need to fix a bug, I am unsure of the others but I will put my comments below.


There is a circle of power called castle, around the middle of the castle. When a hero enter, it would be invulnerable and in air for a while, out of panic I used -debug. My hero died and revived with permanent invulnerability, you must fix this bug as it is easily exploitable..



I encountered a lot of lags, I suggest you to check you triggers to find leaks

Yes no problem, I was curious and I thought this map worth a review..

I hope you noticed that -debug after entering circle has a bug, it's a must fix! Erm may be just remove invulnerability?

When the player enter the circle, just display some text, else the player will not know what is really happening, plus tell them to do -stopchannel if possible
