WitchHunter256.blp

Witch Hunters act as hired guns for various people or organizations meant to hunt down malevolent forces around the world. All done in the name of justice, for money obviously. Sometimes for vengeance as well.

Their weapons can range from staffs, hooks, guns, arbalet and whatnot.
Each individual has its own favorite.

You can find the HD version here.

As always, you're free to check out my Texturing thread for updates about my current skin works.

Enjoy~

ask and u shall receive. before u think i'm only mentioning the negatives - well, yes, coz u can't improve the elements that are already good.

tone down the highlights on her hair and hat; we're dealing with hair and fur/silk, not metal plating :p the face, hair and hat have disjointed perspectives. the face looks like it's been drawn from an eye-level angle, the hat from a high angle, and the hair looks flat because it covers the face too much and lacks lateral shading (as in, the further left/right, the more shadow and less highlights there should be, since the light source is from the front). you've also misdrawn and slightly mishaded the nose, particularly the nostrils. check some ref pics of noses from a front eye-level angle. the purple rim lights on the bottom of the right tuft of hair should be gone (i can elaborate why that is the case if u don't trust my artistic senses).

The icon is pretty neatly made, however to me the hair has a metallic look, and her nose seems to be a slightly lighter shade than the rest of her face.Other than that, nice job

Nice way on replicating Blizzard style. She looks wicked, wish there was a texture for it too! *wink wink* *nudge nudge* *suggestive look*

I got one suggestion: the way you've put highlights on the hair and on her cheeks made her look a bit obese. When you have a character surrounded by something like hair or helmet, giving a straight line of light impact causes that effect. If you look at V2, there ain't that highlight line, and she appears skinnier.

But it still looks nice, and I like it.

~Nightmare: Details is superb! Although I do not like the staff tho, it could be more like undead-ish (more like a staff that came from a witch) but it doesn't matter tho. Face could use some little details like wrinkles etc. The hood is well executed. Team color is used fantastically. EDIT: Forgot to rate

Magnificent Witch Hunter, I like his boots. Also I've watched a movie were a witch hunter uses a staff instead of a gun. He trained a boy to be a witch hunter, who's mother is also a witch :ogre_hurrhurr:
