Build Your Fort!:
  • - Destructible blocks.
  • - Underground mines.
  • - Walls and fortifications.
  • - Weapons and traps.
  • - Capture the flag.

WarFortress combines the genres of strategy and arcade artillery.
The game takes place in real time.
The main goal is to defeat another team by capturing its flag or destroying all hostile heroes.
At the beginning of the game you have to choose one of 7 maps, the landscape of which is made of collapsing blocks.
Capturing mines and extracting resources, you can arm heroes, as well as rebuild impregnable walls around team flags.


Electro Guard (NEW)
Enemies in the vicinity receive damage every second.
He notices only those enemies who are above the guard.
Durability: 50 units.
Damage: 50 units.
Radius: 5 blocks.

Block

Use for construction of embankments.

Krep

Use for excavating mines.
The ceiling reinforced with such a block will not allow a collapse to occur.
Durability: 30 units.

Fog generator

Produces smog which envelops a small area.
Able to hide your troops and buildings from enemies.
For the enemy team, your fog is not transparent.
Durability: 50 sec.

Stairs

Use to build a ladder.

Requires 3 vertical blocks.
Only team members can open the gate.

Talisman of Poseidon (NEW)

Effect: Increased water levels.

Machine gun (NEW)

Brings down a hail of bullets on the enemy.
Take into account the effects of improvements from the "gun".
Distance: 500 units.
Number of shots: 5.

Smoke Grenade (NEW)

Launches a projectile in the specified direction.
Cancellation of the order reduces the range.
Effect: Fog.
Duration: 15 sec.
The fog is not transparent to the opposing team.

Boer (NEW)
Destroys the blocks in front of you.
Duration: 3 sec.
Damage: 20 units. Explosive barrel
It explodes after a while.

Heavy Armor (Kubera Thick)
Damage done to the hero is reduced by 20%.

Underwater Breathing
(Olwegg Unsinkable)
The hero can breathe under water.

Fire Gloves
(Agni Redbeard)

The same issue as for the previous map: ability, items etc. descriptions. Fix them, they are either nonexistent or wrong.

ADDITIONAL NECESSARY INFORMATION
  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

  1. The command abilities still don't have a description.
  2. Regeneration is a passive ability with an active icon. You could change it with this: Button Manager v1.8.2 Same with Underwater Breath.
  3. Maybe show the health bars?
  4. How to get the flag of the enemy? Wait... you're supposed to make it go down some blocks? That's how I got victory. But then, this is not capturing the flag. In a CTF game you're supposed to get the enemy flag and bring it to yours.
  5. Not sure if intended but you can spam F+Left Click into killing every foe. Happens when you click to shoot the flag (direction).
  6. You should write about the gameplay in the Quest Log.

Indeed it turned out there is such a bug.

The enemy flag is captured in the same way as the flag of your team is selected with the button (D).
Yes, from the description it really is not clear.

All of the above errors will be taken into account and corrected in update 1.02.
