Warcraft Crusader

As requested by the great Sniper of Darkness, the Crusader model for use in the Crusade Over Europe map.

Made to look good when standing side-by-side with other WC3 units such as the high elf archer and the footman, this model is also somewhat exaggerated in that it is trimmed with gold, yet true to the source material.

Brilliant Model.
gg wp

Jokes aside, this is one of the most accurate representations of a Eleventh Century Crusader (on warcraft) from my knowledge.

While it has flaws like his chainmail flying trough his body, it's an accurate representation of the battle the crusader must have had within himself.
I hope this could inspire many more models like this. (really do hope)

This is pretty neat; so many "basic human sword guys" are just Footman edits, but this is really a step above that. I like the 'faceless' part of him, and the custom animations are a treat.

Well, technically.. He is a footman edit.

5/5 from me, gj
(bug: 3d viewer still showing the first iteration upload of model)

I apologies, I thought you meant (don't know why) the actual EYES of the Footman (he even has a moustache).

The photo you provided could easily be a Twelfth century Knight while this armour may have been used in the Thirteenth century doesn't really make it a "13th century knight", the "Warcraft Crusader" looks more of a Twelfth to Thirteenth century knight due to it's plates of armour on the legs and arms instead of the usual mail.
The vannila Warcraft 3 footman does more justice to it.

Also next time you post a image try hiding it in the "spoiler" thingy or simply give a link, a link may actually give more context.

What I'm basically saying is that this Crusader could be used as a Thirteenth century Knight as well given that they still wore much the same "outfit" in that period, and that there should be some "striking" differences between them.

HerrDave: Looks good, I'll think about it

Here's the answer.

There's really not much to do really, just replace the helmet with a great helm (there's one on the hive) and if you really want to go further just stick a Luftstreitkräfte on the tabard and you're done. (though from my quick search on google that only came in the Nineteenth century.

EDIT: Actually it appears I was terribly wrong, you are not able to make this yourself, the attachment don't work (at least the ones on the mesh itself).

A little too much plate for a crusader but good overall. Another fantastic model. I also appreciate the kite shield.
