Looks really messy. In my opinion all you did was put down a bit of black then smudged it everywhere.

Well first I didn't use the smudge tool anywhere except smearing the shadow on the bottom of the Grunts armor plate. The rest of the black including the scratches in the armor were all freehanded by me without the smudge tool. And I did a lot more than add black. Black was actually not the most common color I used. Trust me compare this to a normal grunt up close and you can tell many differences.

i dissagree with the qoute above. It like a Real orc. i mean do orcs take baths? DO THEY? no they don't. 4/5

Thanks I thought it'd be a neat idea that could actually be noticeable and would make since for a more realistic orc. Glad you like it. :grin:

Well I was trying to make it more realistic in the fact that they should be dirty and that they should have blood on them ect. But apparently Hawkwing the says that its really messy. Even to messy for dirt. So it'll have to change some to satisfy him seen as he's the mod. I'll try to make it even better.

Glad you like it. Sadly Hawkwing doesn't think so. So I'll have to go and edit it more and make it less messy. Not sure how it'll look then though.

Its really messy. The best way to clean up this skin is redo his skin and make it high-rez. I'd recomend redoing his muscles and stuff and add in new clothes, and redo the skin, not just scribble on it.

Its funny how the oppinion varies so much on this. Others like it others hate it and say its horrible. Its not just scribbled a normal skin that I scribbled on. Scribblings a mess trust me. The suggestion you've given me is basically to just redo the whole thing and make a new skin. Skins are supposed to change the look of an existing unit. They don't always have to make it look entirely different.

It just looks sloppy. Lemme show you noobs how to skin. Im gonna do a similar concept to this, and do awesome.

I looked. And while yours wasn't bad its not the same idea. Mine was supposed to be dirty, have damaged armor, blood on him from his enemies, more realisticish. So not really the same idea at all to what you made. But its looks good.

Edit: Hey Hawkwing just letting you and the other skin mods know that I am going to update this. With it looking nicer. I've thought about it and I know what to do to make it much better and hopefully acceptable in your eyes. I have to head to bed soon. But it will happen within a day or two. I'll try for tomorrow for sure. Sorry I did models today.

I like it, it doesn't see, smudgy to me and i say its an improvement Orc's are war scorn battlers who don't bathe or anything 4/5.

Well I would. But the moderator Hawkwing didn't seem to think it was good enough. And I'm not sure how to go about making it better. :sad:
