Default Voidwalkers have a tiny bit of TC but it's not enough for someone to even notice much less identify them by. I've expanded the coloring to include a part of their glow. Version 2 also has team color in its glowy eyes.

Yeah, I think that would look quite good if the unit is meant as a common troop.

I would make the purple glow team colored, otherwise it's too mixed and not enough. Alternatively I would make more parts of the body colored and leave the glow as it is. Similar to archons in SC2

not intentionally and not even something I was aware of but apparently the pre-forged editor takes some objection to a team glow emitter, or the way it converted, or something. odd.
version 1 should work on any patch.
