[Video] Enchanted Forests

No storyline... just some impressions of a mystical nightelf-forest - my first Project in WC3 after 5 years or so.

Actually I didn't plan to upload this, so its neigher compressed, nor coded in an intelligent way - well... hope you can enjoy watching it though...

Update 1:
- more effects (fog, weather effects)
- changed some cameras
- erased some disfigurements (is this the right word? Google sais so.)

Originality:
I have to say that I haven't seen any cinematic like this before in the map section so you score well in case of originality.

Music:
I liked the music. It was nice to hear. Another + point.

Sound Effects:
About sound effects there can be improvements. In the beginning I heard sound of owl even when it was clearly day time. Also you should turn off the sound of frogs(?). I heard the sound many time if I am correct & it wasn't suited with the music.

Unit use:
You have tried to depict a night elf village but you have used only few of the night elf units. Mainly I saw Dyrad model. Other units gazing from a mountain can also be used if you like.
There wasn't much wildlife considering that it was a forest. I mainly saw birds flying. You could have used dears & furbolgs too.
Workers of the village & some children playing near water sources would have depicted the village even better.

Terrain:
Cannot say much here. One thing that I have to say is about waterfalls. The waterfalls sometime gave me impression as if they were coming outside of the land instead of a water source. That could be improved.

Replayability:
I saw the cinematic twice mainly because I liked the music.

Other Suggestions:
You could have used sunlight effects. I mean the patterns of light coming from sun. That would have enhanced the visual appeal.

My rating would be 3/5 for this cinematic & vote for approval.

Very well made. I understand why you did not put any deers or furbolgs and other animals. If you will place more units, the serenity of the forest will be disrupted. I liked the feeling that I am alone in the forest with almost nothing moving. I don't like the units that are moving too much. I wish they moved a little bit slowly to show more gracefulness. For me, this map is great!

Its amazing what you made with those awful blizzard models. I think it looked really good :D The ramp you could remove tho, it doesent look good. They almost never do.
I would also like if you slowed down the animation speed of the tree of life and wisps.
Overall pretty nice, i loved the music :D But its not so intresting withour a story. But well, then we dont have to look at text with no voices to. Or listen to badly made voices, which would ruin the music anyway.

3/5 because of the enjoyable music, and silence :D

Are you nuts?ORC's???????Maybe in your dreams why they should be in an night elf city hiden deep in the woods where only the Elfs can reach??Think before you post next time :ugly:

yeah but in the campaign the orcs do go deep into the night elve's forest. Hellscream kills a god of the forest after drinking demon blood and so on.
