Vil'Ren a land of beauty and peace until the races has come to harvest it's resources, many has been wondering about this place. No one no the origin of this land, it is a mistery to all of the races......

  • Map is consisted of 2 players
  • Terrain Fog is used Z Start: 7500.00 Z End: 75000.00
  • Game Data Set is Melee (Latest Patch)

Hope you all enjoy my Melee Map! This took me 2 day to make this melee map including the tests!

Major Changes
-There are only 4 Green Creep Camp's instead of 6
-There are only 10 Orange Creep Camp's instead of 14
-Change the Gold in the Goldmines from 12500 to 20000
-All creeps have been REORGANIZED and some are just them same
-Item's are balanced

Some Changes
-Added a unbuildable terrain near the Tavern
-The Region in the tavern that gives Sunlight to the Tavern is Extended

Main Changes
-Removed the Tavern in the Middle and replaced it with a Fountain of Health which includes creeps gaurding it.
-Creeps gauding the Fountain of Health is a Red Creep Camp
-There are now 8 Green Creep Camp's instead of 4
-There are now 8 Orange Creeps Camp's instead of 10
-New:There are now Red Creep Camp's in the Top Left and Bottom Right Camps and also in the Middle of the Map (the once gaurding the Fountain of Health) All in all there are 3 Red Creep Camp's
-Changed the creeps and balanced the item's of all of them
-Moved the Mercenary Camp to the orange creep camp near the base so that players get Mercenaries Early Game
-Added 2 Goldmines which are the once that are replacing the Mercenary Camp's in there places so that players will now have 2 Goldmines each
-Made the ramps wider near the players camp's
-There are now 2 Tavern's instead of only 1

Some Changes
-Unbuildable Doodads are added near the ramp's
-Item's are balanced
-Terrain is not raised even more (well not too much that would ruin the gameplay)
-Militia rush is now available (I don't know why I included this in the Change Log)


-Updated the Terrain
-Cliffs in the middle are higher
-Overview is now Updated
-New: Added a Short Grass in the Terrain

-There are now 10 Green Creep Camps Instead of 8
-There are now 2 Red Creep Camps Instead of 3
-The Fountain of Health is removed including the Red Creep Camp
-The Two Taverns are removed (both left and right)
-The Tavern is back in the middle of the map replacing the Fountain of Health

-Unbuildable Terrain is added near the Ramps to avoid tower enclosure
-Global Weather is used "Rays of Light"
-New: Added Stone Path (Unbuildable) Terrain
-Terrain is updated
-New: Also added a new Prop "Power Generator"
-Fixed some of the items
-Cliff Heights are fixed
-Some Doodads are removed and replaced with new one's
-Fixed the Discription


-Changed the Title of the Map to Vel'Ren instead of Vil'Ren
-Made the Post Lantern in the Bottom Right bigger

-Items in the 10th creep camp added has been fixed (since I set the item to 50% chance I forgot to turn it back to 100% so now it is fixed)

  1. Terrain is quite flat.
  2. You should put some unbuildable tiles on the ramps so they won't be closed with towers.
  3. Rush isn't quite viable but I guess that's not bad.
  4. However, you can't use Militia to get the mine because it's too far away. Moreover, mine guardians are all immune to magic that is a problem in early-mid game.
  5. Chance or not, a lot of Mantles of Intelligence +3.
  6. Potions of Greater Healing, shouldn't drop from just any easy camp especially along with another item.

  • A credits list in the map thread description is required where the names of the resource (models, skins, icons, spells, sound etc.) authors are mentioned along with the specific resource. It would be a luxury to have links leading to the used resources. Credits in the Quest Log would be appreciated too.
  • A detailed changelog in the first post would be helpful to reviewers and notify fans about the newest implementations to your map.
  • Map thread tags are important. Please use those that fit and not more or none.

Not really but what about the distance between players and the mines. Humans can't use Militia to take the mine and it's there is only one mine per player.

You did not place unbuildable tiles, but doodads... which restrict unit movement. That's not good.
Also, you've placed a fountain of health right in the middle and that means less ways to move/attack in the early-mid game. I suggest you leave the Tavern in the middle.
