Varok Saurfang

This bundle is marked as high quality. It exceeds standards and is highly desirable.
Second model character I made from the new Battle for Azeroth cinematic. This one uses the animations from @Tauer 's Doomhammer model. So credit him too if you use this model.

I highly suggest this icon if you use this model: Varok Saurfang made by @LordGandulfo88 .

Update: Added v2 with two shoulder pads instead of one.

Review: Awesome looking model with a fine mesh and fitting animations. One fix is needed to be made for it to be approved: The Head attachment point is attached to the models chest and not to its head. Fix that and I'll approve it. Edit: Approved.

Nice! I really like this one. The axe looks perfect! Like @PROXY said some of the ingame textures look a teeny bit off, but as a whole the model looks great. I'm not a huge fan of the white face tattoos though, the lack of any shading makes them stand out too much. I think he'd look better without them honestly.

Good job! I'm glad that my animations were of some use to you :)

I couldn't find a texture that would suit better than this but as @JLeonard said that's what it makes the Varok different I guess.

Awesome model!

I was a bit concerned with the trim of different pieces of his gear being inconsistent.. Things like shoulder pads having the team color and then a grey trim, knee pads having team color and red trim, the piece around his neck being red with a grey trim, and the gauntlets team color with dark trim. Dunno if the model could benefit from the armor design having a more defined style that it would stick with for all the pieces. And just to throw it out there, out of all these pieces my favorite is how the gauntlets look.

Anyway, that was just my initial concern - having tested it a bit in game it seems to fit really well and everything looks great. I like the general shape of the model and the way he looks from the viewing angle, looks like a badass hero to play with. Really liking the big bulky axe he's got, and the animations of him swinging it.

I personally like the war paint.

Please don't just make Horde characters, Alliance has cool models possibilities too.

looks awesome BUT, those eyes, they do not blink, and I feel they could use some improvement, maybe another aye choice, something that fits better. Something like the warlock/stormreaver eyes turned orange/red with vertex modification. Also you can change the color of his skin to a paler green with the vertex modifier so that it looks even more as Varok.

I see no point in 'death' animation for this model, in all honesty. Could've saved yourself some time and skip that one, but... jokes aside, this is truly amazing!

What's wrong with it? The shoulder is meant to be team colored.
Not showing Team Color in View in 3D, i contacted Ghostwolf and ... apparently its some mix of a 3DViewer bug and a small error (i think) in your model.

however this model uses a texture without alpha, and rather uses modulate to get the effect
i.e. set that layer to modulate (5) and it will be team colored correctly, like the v2 model

☝️ whether or not you fancy doing a little tweak is up to you.

I must have edited the model in mdlvis after setting the layer to modulate. Mdlvis somehow change the modulate filter to none for some reason.
I will check the model later.
