Otherwise a really cool design and it works pretty good with the wrap. Not quite seeing the vampire apart from the desaturated face, though.

Actually, I've come to enjoy the amount of red, and I don't think it's particularly messy, it's just the contrast - and the golden trims seem out of place. It probably wouldn't hurt with more black cloth, but it's not strictly necessary.

Let me say this first:

The face is awesome.

Now, his armor looks really cluttered, and I don't know what it is supposed to be either- metal? Cloth? Plastic even? And why wear something like that when he could be dressed properly in a nice suit or something? Try change it to white, black or gold, and see if it turns out better.

As for vampires and facial hair, Count Orlok from Nosferatu is the closest to what a proper vampire should look like, so I wouldn't be arguing about what modern sources say, as they go from making them godlike to sparkly.
