Undead Ghoul

Simple Ghoul model meant to serve as an alternative to in game ghoul model. It doesn't have lumber animations because I wanted him to look more like a leader of the ghoul pack or something like that.

Give credits and enjoy!

Update1:
Added lumber animations.

Works in-game, performs appropriately and is a good addition to the model section.

Excellent, finally a good replacement for the default model.

Upright ghoul*

Looks more like a wolverine, especially with those hairy legs :D
oh wait those are bandages...
However, if I were to make something diablo-like, or a map with some stylish enemies, I would definitely use this one instead of the default WC3 undeads.

Just imagine the first level being some kind of a ruined city full of zombies, these things roaming the streets, and the player hunting them.

the owlbear animations used in a model with those proportions make him look stiff-y, it's more obvious in stand-2 animation, and the walk animation looks kinda clunky, those anims looks good on a model with bulky proportions, but anyway, i guess that's just me, still looks really great!

Maybe they don't fit a normal ghoul, but given this one was made with a fantasy of a pack leader in mind, it makes sense that he's a bit bigger, slower, and has less clumsy attacks. In any case, it's a great addition imo

This ghoul is more intelligent and less savage than the classic ghoul we met way back 2003. Well, to point to the fact, this ghoul is closer resemblance to a working wretched elf or forsaken laborer, human peasant, and a peon. Look at his upright stature, yes, let the other crawly and hunched classic ghouls attack the enemies and let these guys get our wood. :)

I'd say the ghoul is perfectly fine. Sorry, I know it's a late comment. The design, lower wraps, are mummified wraps. He was clearly dug out from one of the crypts or graves.

Now in my project this ghoul would be useful as a model because:
These Ghouls, however, compared to the real ones are not identical. This Ghoul loses speed, but is more powerful standing backbone and spine upright with stronger bones. Ordinary ghouls are crawlers with faster speed and attack speed. But then lower in health, armor, and attack alike. This Ghoul is the pack leader because he has more health, more armor more attack, and he will in any way crush the lowly ghoul who is a crawler and more of a 'frontline clearer' for the main army that is about to approach. A distraction. Stefan K., I don't know if it's accidental genius or an accident you created it this way. But nevertheless, in a game point and 'lore fitting' standard. This is ideal and just what we need more off. Nicely done.

The attack animation with wood sometimes appears while he's not carrying it and same happens while he's copping wood.

I just figured that too, it does that only in game, it's not visible in the model viewers. Damn, this is not the first model that does that. I have similar problems with some other model and can't seem to fix it. I checked geoset animations and everything seems to be alright, don't know how to fix it...

Does the animation name affect it in any way?

Try renaming it to just ''attack lumber''. That's what the animation is called on peons and peasants.
