This bundle is marked as useful / simple. Simplicity is bliss, low effort and/or may contain minor bugs.
Reskin of a human townhall/castle/keep . I used world of warcraft materials , alliance garrison buildings.

I didnt know how to add teamcolor to the roof...

Also i reduced quality of blp with 70% of original quality... I know hives dont prefer big file size... So i will upload the same one with high file size and mdx,also with metal roof variation(like original wc3) where clock is,and with human uber splats, on wcunderground in model or reskin area.

Tnx.I can do it with human buildings, except roof part-alpha channel. WoW posses every resource needed to keep original wc3 look,ofc in HD. My pc is full of wow textures.

I was kinda bored so i did this reskin,my primary focus is making HD tiles (total wc3 remake) , and i dont know how to do variations . You can check it here

I would seek a mentor in this area , but over the time when get bored i will do some reskins like this :D

Also i would be grateful if someone from hive would took those tiles and reduce size of it and upload here (sorry for being offtopic :D )
 
Every resource is from WoW i didnt paint anything from scratch , just modify... Little tower roofs on castle are from sc2 wc3 assets, and metal bars are from pinterest. But in order metal bars appear instead of doors , you must delete doors,paint in black and add alpha channel....

It wasnt just copy paste,i had to offset some of them, make it tileable, i had to modify windows,basically make a new 1 from 3 type of windows... Some of them i had to shoot screenshot on building model and then copy and modify :D

Since i am wcu member and we are bad drawers but good modelers, we could maybe supply you with some resources if you want for reskins
Or some of you can visit us sometimes ,you can download some buildings preview textures and you will certenly have reskins easier and more ,,HD,, ( if we can call wc3 HD :) )
 
Chaosy and stein your idea is good , i will do it as soon as i finishe lordaeron tiles . Also i will upload 1 gb of tile samples i collected from past monhts . I feel lonely in wcu and i will seek advices , help and opinions here

Big problem will be size of my tiles , cause hives need it for maps , but i made those tiles specific for mpq replacement as hd total remake

Same thread i will upload building reskins i will do in future

And everybody will be free to modify this , cause i know you guys can improve it way better , i am rather idea factory than a skilled guy

Tnx for the info . I read it damn , it leaves me only 1 choice : Not to upload reskins anymore in submissions .
But can i open a thread in texturing and surface development and upload there reskins,materials i used , credit blizzard etc. ? Are rules there strictly like this ?
As i understood i must paint 75 % of texture by my self . I would understand it for units , but for buildings its kinda nonsense , but nvm will still follow the rules :)

You should read our Skin Submission Rules before uploading more textures to the section. Particularly the part about the freehand rule. Skins must feature at least 75% free-handed work in order to be approved.

Now, this being almost entirely not being the case since it is taken from WoW, cannot be approved.
Sent to Substandard/Too Simple section for being mostly a rip skin.
